(Long-time employee of Union Carbide) On Monday, February 25, 2002, at the Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston, at age 82. Pat Derrick formerly of Caesarea, long-time companion of the late Clare Doyle. Dear sister of the late Bill and Joe Derrick and she is survived by her sister-in-law Daisy Derrick. Loved aunt of Jodi, April, Dawn, Kim, Joyce and Kathryn and their families. Relatives and friends will be received at the Wagg Funeral Home, ''McDermott-Panabaker Chapel'', 216 Queen Street in Port Perry on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, February 28th at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Canning officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.

JONES, Muriel -

Peacefully at her son’s home in Missouri U.S.A. on Monday February 25th, 2002. Muriel (Haines) age 86. Beloved wife of the late Hugh MacNutt Jones of Saint John, New Brunswick. Loving mother of Lindy and Tom (Zywot) and Rick and his wife Susan Jones. Loving Grammie of Peter Zywot, Amelia Jones, Laura Jones, Andrew Zywot, Christian Jones, Harrison Jones, Samantha Jones and Kaitlyn Jones. Dear sister of Ro­bert Haines of Goderich Ont. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Services were conducted by the Reverend Heather Scott, with interment at Oshawa Union Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E. Oshawa. Memorial donations to the C.N.1.BU, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Breast Cancer Research would be appreciated.

Age 50 years (Louie). Suddenly on Monday February 25, 2002. Beloved husband of Brenda Louttet of 12 years. Loving "Dad" of Rochelle & Roxanne. Cherished brother of Brenda Howie & her companion Graham Lawson. Loving uncle of Caroline and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Anne & Charles Louttet. Will be sadly missed by his Special Lifetime best friend Ken & his wife Giselle Penwarden and also all the guys at Liberty Metal. Visitation at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division St. N. ROBERTS, Alan -

At Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa on Monday, February 25, 2002, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dear father of Brian (Sande), Janet (Jeff) and Stephen (Ewa). He will be lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob; Robert and Rachel; Konrad and Alexandra. Alan is also survived by his sisters Jean and Joyce in England, brother John in Australia and their families. The funeral service took place in the Chapel of Oshawa Funeral Service on February 28, 2002. Many thanks to the caring staff of the Special Care Unit at Hillsdale Manor.

At the Northumberland Health Care Centre, Cobourg on Monday, February 25, 2002. Ian Chalmers Turner, in his 66th year, Past Master of Masonic Durham Lodge # 66 Newcastle and member of the Royal Arch Lodge # 249, Palestine Chapter, Bowmanville, was the beloved husband of Ann Turner. Dear father of Sandra Price and her husband Phil of London, Ontario, Shari Abbot and her husband Ed of London, England, Debbie Butler and her husband Rick of Green Island, N.Y., U.S.A. and Doug Smith of Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Grandfather of Rick, Jeff, Matthew, Melissa, Ben, Sarah, Ryan and Jamie-Lyn. Great Grandfather of Taylor Price . Brother of Gilbert (Gib) of London, England, also Jim predeceased. Brother in law of Kay Turner of London, England, Christina Turner, predeceased and John and Mary-Anne Donnet of Montreal, Quebec. A service in memory of Ian will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Friday, March 1st, 2002 at 3 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Predeceased by his son Michael, grandson Ron, his brothers Michael and Lloyd and sister Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Helen Marguerite Stots of Sunderland was the beloved wife of the late Norman Blake Lotton (1987). Loving mother of Blake and Dorothy Lotton of Ripley, June (Mrs. Les Brethour) of Sunderland, Margaret (Mrs. Ted Bickle) of Whitby, Ken and Shirley Lotton of Cookstown and Donald Lotton of Uxbridge. Dearly remembered by 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and sister Kathleen Powell of Stouffville. Predeceased by sister Flo Popham and brother Kenneth Stots. Gord will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Michael, Robert, Sean and Craig and his many friends. Gord served his country honourably in World War II. He was a good husband and father and a kind and generous man.
