After a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 31st, 2002 at the age of 67. Beloved mother of Cindy Kirby, Peter Lowery, Susan Bleackley and her husband Nigel and Thomas Lowery. Grandmother of Jacob Bleackley, Stacey and Kristy Lowery. Fondly remembered by her sisters Marion Peters and Jean Berdini, sister-in-law Barb Loreno and brother-in-law Charlie Dart. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel”, 847 King St., E., (905-721-1234) for visitation on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday April 4th from 7-9 p.m. A Complete Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Much loved grandma of Christie, Robert, Melissa, Rebecca, Jamie-Lynn, Gidget, Corey, Daniel, Amanda, Bobby, Devan, Drew, Nikita and Charles. Sister of Ethel, Sally, Betty, Charlie and the late Jack, Florence, Lucy, Doris, Tom and Gladys. A private family service has been held with cremation. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, April 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bay Ridges Legion (1555 Bayly). Beloved wife of Bill McGregor and the late Rainsforth (Ron) Rudd. Suddenly at his home in Oshawa on Sunday, March 31, 2002 at the age of 50. Chris, beloved father of Tara Nesbitt, Stephen Nesbitt, Michelle Nesbitt and Kerri Nesbitt. Former husband of Jennifer Nesbitt. Loved Papa of Anthony, Alisha, Curtis, Jordan, Taylor and Jaiden. Dear brother of Rosemary, Bob, Heather, Maureen, Paul, Debbie and Andrew. Chris is predeceased by his parents Robert and Betty Nesbitt (nee McGuire). Chris will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
