Suddenly at Lakeridge Health-Uxbridge on Thursday, March 7th, 2002. Jim in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Joan for 51 years. Dear father of David and Debbie Souch, Cathy Souch, Terry and Jane Souch, Peter and Tracy Souch, Carol and Peter Nagy. Lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren: Lauren, Kaitlyn, Damian, Nick, Ally, Mike, Laura, Melaine, Jodi, Tara, Jim, Jennifer, Mallory and Tanner. Dear brother of Don and Joan Souch. Jim will be missed by his faithful dog Madison. Jim was an active, giving person in many community organizations some of which were Oshawa Flying Club, Oshawa Ski Club, Oshawa Chamber of Commerce, Whitby Chamber of Commerce, Kiwans Club of Oshawa, Ontario Automobile Dealers Association, Charles H. Best Diabetes Center, Whitby General Hospital, Oshawa Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Community United Church, United Church of Canada and Oshawa Presbytery. Jim was a recipient of the Peter Perry Award and the Ontario Time Magazine Quality Automobile Dealer of the Year Award. Proud grandmother of Robert, Adam, and Rachael Palmer and Lyndsay Brown. Survived by sisters Marie Martin and Dorothy Hymas. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
