Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday April 2, 2002. Beloved wife of Reg for 49 years. Beloved daughter of May Provan. Loving mother of Reg, Mary, Robert and Eleanor. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and one great grandson. May will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday April 5, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.

BAKUNOWICZ, Artem (Arthur) -

Peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Monday, April 1, 2002, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Emily. Cherished father of Steve (Valerie), Nina (Taras), and Linda (David). Beloved grandfather of Erin. Survived by his family in Belarus: sister Tanya and many nieces and nephews. Arthur will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The Family would like to express special thanks to the wonderful staff of ICU Scarborough Grace Hospital in particular nurses Zina, Irene, Jubilee and Lee as well as Dr. David Rose and Chaplin Sheila Ellis. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa with Mass of Christian Liturgy at St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Friday April 5, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Humane Society or Children of Chernobyl Foundation would be appreciated. Peacefully passed away at the Ajax and Pickering Hospital with her daughter by her side on April 1, 2002 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Norman. Loving mother to Carolyn and her husband Robert Johnston. Also predeceased by her son Robert Collins. Cherished grandmother to Nancy and her husband Bill, Patricia and her husband Joel,Thomas, Dianna and great grandmother to Madison, Lisa, Leonard and Noah. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark's United Church (201 Centre Street S. Whitby, ON.) at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday April 4, 2002. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, donationsto the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Mark's United Church would be greatly appreciated. At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Monday April 1, 2002 in her 86th year. Edith, beloved wife of the late Thomas McKellar. Loving mother of George Noden & his wife Caroline, Jack Noden & his wife Reka, Peggy & her husband Roy Pacey and Rosemary & her husband Jay Rogers. Dear sister of Dorothy Hackett and John Rowe. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at Bowmanville Cemetery. McGREGOR Carol Ann (nee Copeland) -

With great sadness the McGregor family announce the passing of Carol, on April 1st 2002. In her 59th year, Carol was the loving wife of Donald and devoted mother of Jamie. Carol will be dearly missed by her relatives and friends. She is predeceased by both her parents, and her brother, Gary Copeland. As by Carol's wishes there will be no viewing or formal service. A celebration of life will be held on Monday April 8th 2002 at My Sisters Place (backroom), 339 Malaga Rd., Oshawa, Ont. from 2-4 pm. Limited parking. ROBINSON, Brenda June -

Peacefully, on Monday, April 1, 2002, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 42. Brenda, beloved daughter of Douglas and Shirley Robinson of Tampa, Florida. Loved sister of Jennifer Middleton of Aurora, Brian Robinson of Atlanta, Georgia and David Robinson of Tampa, Florida. Brenda will also be missed by her extended family and especially Diane Chapman at the Central Seven Home on Union Avenue in Prince Albert. A Service to Celebrate the life of Brenda Robinson was held in St. John's Anglican Church, York Mills on Monday, April 8th with Reverend Hollis Hiscock officiating. Interment adjoining cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque through the Wagg Funeral Home, ''McDermott-Panabaker Chapel,'' 216 Queen Street in Port Perry, to the Central Seven Association for Community Living in Port Perry.

WWII Veteran. Passed away suddenly on Monday, April 1st, 2002 at Lakeridge Health, Uxbridge. In his 84th year. Helge, beloved husband of Laila. Survived by his daughter Tone and her husband Lee Reid and grandchildren. Erik and Kristin. Fondly remembered by his sister Ellen and her family in Oslo, Norway and his many friends. Actively involved in Claremont Lions Club. Cremationhas taken place.
