Peacefully passed away, at the Orchard Villa Retirement Home, on May 28, 2002, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Eric Jackson. Loving mother of David and his wife Judith, Frances Suter and her husband Doug, Derek and his wife Susan and Angela Biernacki and her husband Dean. Grandmother of Benjamin, Danielle, Samantha, Jennifer, Jonathan and James. Survived and sadly missed by her sister Edith Greer (England) and sisters-in-law May Moore (England) and Margaret Aston (Toronto). Hilda was a former Adult Education Teacher at George Brown College and a Past President of the South Pickering Seniors. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, May 31, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Should family and friends so desire, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Grandfather of Lisa and Tammy and great-grandfather of Jeniece. Brother of the late Alma. Beloved brother-in-law of Margaret and Orval Atkinson of Whitby. John will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Joseph Ceglar, beloved husband of Erna Ceglar, and the late Zita Ceglar. Loving father of Joe Ceglar and her husband Janet of Trenton, Katarina and her husband Michael Verge. Grandfather of Nadine, Shana, Jonathan and Adam, Great Grandfather of Justin. Joseph will be sadly missed by his sister in Germany and his brothers in Slovenia. Dear friend of Stan and Wilma Simeninovic. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Friday May 31st from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Gord was the husband of Beverley (nee Saunders). Loved father of Brenda (Shawn) of Whitby, Linda (Brian) of Seagrave, Dana (Rob) of Port Perry, Andrea (Kevin) of Port Perry, Lisa of Lethbridge, Alberta, and Derek of Port Perry. Beloved grandfather of Aislin, Erin, Dana, Hunter, Nathan, Hannah, Avery, and Neve. Dear brother of Norma (Gene), Roberta (Bruce), Barbara (Roland), and brother-in-law of Lynn and he was predeceased by his brother Marshall and his parents Clifford and Jane Lewis. Gord was a resident and business owner in Port Perry for over 40 years and he will be missed by his friends and family and his dog Xena.
