Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late James and Isabella (Heath) Louden. She was a retired Registered Nurse and had worked with the VON, Durham Region, Ontario for over 20 years. She was a member of the Living With Cancer Group, Greenwood, NS, a member of the Valley Claymore Society, and a member of the Mid-Valley Palliative Care Association. Surviving are her husband, David; sons David (Kathleen Schmidt), Lower Sackville, NS; Donald (Nicole), Napanee, Ontario; four grandchildren. Predeceased by one sister Marilyn. Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the WARREN T. ROOP FUNERAL HOME, Middleton, NS, Reverend Ewen Moase officiating. Flowers accepted. Donations may be made to a Charity of choice.
