At Lakeridge Health Corp Oshawa on Sunday July 28th 2002. Ewdokia (Donna) in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Pawel. Loving mother of Walter and his wife Fran, Joe and his wife Laurie, John and his wife Laura, Michael and his wife Mary, and George and his wife Judy. Dear grandmother of Jeff, Jason, Jonathon, Cory, Stefan, and Kristen. Fondly remembered by her sister Tania, and nephew Gregory. Ewdokia will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East Oshawa. With a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Hedwig's Polish Catholic Church on Thursday August 1st at 10:00am. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home Wednesday at 8:00pm. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm.

McEACHERN, Brayden -

Age 3 years old. At Trenton Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 28, 2002 suddenly after a tragic accident. Beloved son of Donald and Sherry of Brighton. Loving grandson of Anne McEachern and Papa George Sebris of Oshawa. Keith and Roselyn MacLeod of Oshawa and the late Donald McEachern. Great-grandson of Mary Masewych and Dorthy McEachern both of Oshawa, Luguarda Quick and Wayne and Flora MacLeod of Brighton. Nephew of Kim McEachern, Brandi MacLeod, James Arsenault and Daniel MacLeod of Oshawa. Special cousin of Taylor. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts anduncles. Resting at Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main St., Brighton. Funeral Service in the Chapel, Wednesday July 31 at 1:30pm.

Proud grandfather of 8 and greatgrondfather of 4. Missed by many other family members and friends. Mr. McDaniel will be resting at the W.C. Predeceased by her sister Bessie Knox (Dobbins) and brothers Jimmy & Peter Dobbins. Also remembered by Donna Gabourie. RICHTER, Waltraut -

At her home in Goodwood, on July 25th, 2002. Waltraut passed away peacefully with her family by her side in her 86th year. She was predeceased by her husband Otto Richter (1991). She is survived by her beloved daughter Christel Caligiuri of Unionville, and sons Conrad of Uxbridge, Otto of Whitby, Herbert of Scarborough, and Volkman of Vancouver. She will also be sadly missed by her nine grandchildren Sandra, Max, Eric, Danielle, Alison, Corinne, Emma, Kofi, and Frederick. Waltraut was born in Germany in 1917 and came to Canada in 1953. She co-founded Richters Herbs with her husband Otto in 1967 in Locust Hill, Ontario. The business moved to Goodwood in 1975 where it has flourished into a worldwide mail order herb nursery. Known as the ''Herb Lady'', she appeared on numerous radio and television programs, as well as being featured in many newspaper and magazine articles. Waltraut was a great believer in growing organic foods and healthy lifestyles. Waltraut was the president of Richters Herbs since 1991. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29th, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Uxbridge. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Low & Low. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nature Conservancy of Canada (1-877-343-3532).

RYAN, Gregory Patrick -

passed away on Thursday, July 25th, 2002 at the Ajax-Pickering Hospital in his 74th year. Survived by his daughters Valerie and her husband Jim Davidson, Heather and her husband Tom Riggs and Michele Ryan; grandchildren Cynthia (Davidson) and her husband Aissa Benaicha, Scott, Ashlee and Gregory Riggs. Also left behind are his sisters Peg, Tessie, Ida, Luvie, Vange, Vicky, Marilyn, Dolores and Shirley. Predeceased by his 6 brothers. Friends will be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1051 Brock Road, Pickering, Ontario, on Sunday, July 28th from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel.
