At Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Orillia, on Sunday, July 21, 2002. John Ferguson of Beaverton was the beloved husband of Muriel Jean (Freek) Ferguson of Beaverton. Dear father of Marie Ferguson of Toronto, John (Diane) Ferguson of Holland Landing and Bruce (Julie) Ferguson of Sharon. Loved grandfather of Blair, Melissa, Grant, Sarah, Dean and Craig. Brother-in-law of Clarence and Claire Freek of Fenelon Falls. The family will receive friends at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton (705-426-5777) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 523 Simcoe Street, Beaverton, on Thursday at 2 p.m. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Dear wife of the late Fred Leask and mother of Ian (deceased) and Alex. Ian's wife Brenda lives in Sussex, New Brunswick with their children Robyn, Lyndi, Nikki and Kris. Alex and Cathy reside near Uxbridge with 4 children also - Heidi, Jenna, Tahney and Jasmine. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge 23 Main Street South. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday,July 24th, 2002 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 25th at Low & Low at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service time. Interment, Uxbridge Cemetery. Donations to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Leaskdale in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.

Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Maria Scholl and Rosa Scholl and by nieces Erika Hildebrandt, Ursula Grasle, Rose Egeler, Gretel Futalla, and Suse Bader. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday, July 25, 2002 at 8:00 pm with visitation beginning at 7:00 pm. FORSTER, Jack Walter

Peacefully, on Saturday, July 20, 2002 at the Community Nursing Home in
Port Perry, at age 94. Jack Forster of Port Perry, beloved husband of the late Edna (nee Cober). Loved father of Marion and her husband Don Wallace of Port Perry, Eleanor Owen of Oshawa, Robert Forster and Suzanne Ashworth of Georgia, and Lynda Forster and Al Green of Leaskdale. Jack will be sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren Donna, Sharon, Scott, Lori, Londa, Blair and Adam, and his 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Jean Mitchell and Robert Forster. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Heise Hill Brethren in Christ Church (Woodbine Avenue south of Stouffville Road) on Tuesday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ken Smith officiating. GIONET, Vincent Joseph -

Died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday July 20, 2002, in his 64th year. Vince will be sadly missed by his former wife Doris, his children Elizabeth Earle of Vancouver, B.C., Michael Gionet of Los Angeles, CA, Meriza Gionet of Mississauga, his grandchildren Alexandra Hunter, Boris McKay, Lore Gionet, his brothers William and Oscar, and his sisters Meriza and Roland. Vince was a long time member of the Canadian Corps. Oshawa and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East with visitation on Wednesday July 24th, 2002 from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters, Sam (W.W.I), Robert, George, William, Charles, Beatrice Morgan, Elizabeth Stinson and Mabel Lewis. Loving aunt of Joy Stinson of Parry Sound, June Lavery of Oakville, Fred Glanville of Bailieboro, Ross Lewis of Newcastle, Robert Lewis, Helen Schmid and Fae Forget of Orono and the late Roy Stinson, Eileen Ritchie, Roma Shortt and Jack Glanville. Fondly remembered by Lorne, Angie, Brad and other members of the Francis Thompson family. Friends were able to call at the Morris Funeral Chapel 4 Division St. Bowmanville on Monday from 7-9 p.m Funeral service complete in our Chapel on Tuesday at 11am. Cremation with Interment of ashes in Orono Cemetery.

Devoted grandmother of Karen, David, Heather, Jamie and Michael. Cremation has taken place and a private Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Brockville, Ontario. Pat was born in Castlewellen, Northern Ireland and came to Canada in 1953. Beloved husband of Peggy. Much loved father of Trish, Teresa and Andrew Gartho, Shelogh and partner Victor Farkas, and Terrance and wife Kim Schofield. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren lsabelle, Julia and Jonah. Dear brother of Thomas and the late Seamus. Was loved and cherished by many nieces and nephews.
