passed away peacefully on Sunday August 4, 2002. Beloved husband of Cynthia. Loving father of Christopher, Trevor and Suzette. Survived byhis sister Carmen of Jamaica. "Ken" will be fondly remembered by many friends and family in Jamaica and Canada. Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Rd., Pickering Friday August 9, 2002 from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Ken's life will be held Saturday August 20, 2002 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (114 Mill Street, at Church St. south of Hwy. 2, Pickering). Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

STOCKMAN, Kathleen Joan -

passed away peacefully on her 77th birthday August 4, 2002, at Strathaven Lifecare Centre, Bowmanville. Kathleen, wife of the late Vernon, mother of Kathie; Rick and wife Bonnie; Susan and husband Ward O'Neill; Karen and husband Ken Gough. Pre-deceased by daughter Patricia Ann. Proud Grandmother of Rebecca, Melissa, Heather, Jeremy, Michael, Brent, Gary and Daryl. Great Grandmother of Cameron and Connor. A service of remembrance will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.) Toronto, on Saturday August 10th, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. During the past 20 months, Kathleen has been lovingly cared for with dignity and compassion by the staff of Strathaven Lifecare Centre. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for their kindness.

Suddenly at his residence in Oshawa on Saturday August 3, 2002 in his 73rd year. Peter beloved husband for 39 years of the late Jean Dragomatz (nee Bateman). Loving father of Terry and his wife Monica, Donald, and Mary Ellen and her husband Doug Andrews. Loving grandfather of Michelle and Nichole Dragomatz, and Sarah, Courtney and Douglas Andrews. Loved special uncle of Donna and her husband Bill Imeson, Dwight Dragomatz and his wife Nancy, Crystal and her husband Rob Murray, and many more nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Peter's "hired hand" Rich Nosal. Peter will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his family and many friends. Peacefully, after a brief illness, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa on Saturday, August 3, 2002, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen Farrell (nee Sandford) for 25 years. Predeceased by his first wife Geneva Farrell (nee Whitaker) and nine brothers and sisters. Dear father of Donald and his wife Marg of North Carolina and Edward and his wife Molly of Perth. Grandfather of six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Myrtle, nieces, Karen and her husband Bill Howard and Wendy and her husband Frank Vanlersel. Relatives and friends paid their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa on Tuesday, August 6, 2002, with a service in the chapel. Interment was at Highland Park Cemetery, Peterborough. Donations were made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of choice.

McDONALD, Wendy -

After a courageous 2 year battle with ovarian cancer, Wendy passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 3, 2002 at Belleville General Hospital, in her 43rd year. Beloved wife of Ian Campbell. Cherished mother to Dylan and Shannon McDonald and stepmother to Adam and Andrea Campbell. Loving daughter to Joseph and the late Vera McDonald. Also sister to Joanne and John (Margaret). Always remembered by her nephew Jason McDonald. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Aiax on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering). Cremation, Should family and friends so desire, donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Beloved father of Patricia Ann LeVier (Earle), Stephen Bernard Brown (Cheryl) and Valerie Susan Haveman (Russell). Grandfather of Anthony Stephen and Brian Mark Delcotto, Christopher and Kimberley Brown, Cassandra and Caroline Haveman and great-grandfather of Wheeler and Harley and Georgia Brown. Brother-in-law of Leora and David Lawson, John and Eunice Ferrell and Reta Todd. Predeceased by his siblings. Don will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Family service of committal after cremation at MOUNT LAWN Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held in September at College Park Church in Oshawa.
