RICHARDSON, Donald Edward -

After a lengthy battle with diabetes at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa, on Friday, September 27th, 2002, at the age of 60. Don will be remembered for his big smile and his big helping heart. He was a skilled diesel mechanic, gifted salesman, loved hunting, fishing and sailing and passed all these interests on to his 4 sons. Don is survived by his loving mother, Iris Geraldine who supported him to the end, his father Jack; and sons Stephen (Karen), Kurt (Deborah), Kris and Grant and 4 grandchildren. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE ''Thornton Chapel'', 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, October 1st from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in our Chapel on Wednesday, October 2nd at 3:00 p.m. Cremation. Donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, on Thursday, September 26, 2002. Marie, loving wife of Fred, dear mother of Donald (Judi) and Donna. Dear sister of Audrey Reid, and the late John Porter. Loving Grandma of Aeron and Katie. Marie will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may gather with the family at Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Saturday, September 28, 2002 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment Uxbridge Cemetery. On Thursday, September 26, 2002 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry at age 47. Rick Edgar, of Scugog Island, loved son of Yvonne and the late Ronald Edgar. Dear brother of Rhonda and her husband Ted Coppaway and uncle of Clayton and Evan Coppaway all of Curve Lake. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Saturday from 2 4 p.m. and 7 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Rick Edgar will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, September 29th at 2 p.m. with Michelle Hofman officiating. Interment Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.

At Oshawa General Hospital on Thursday, September 26th, 2002 at the age of 86. Loving husband of Pearl for 62 years. Dear father of Marjorie Ann and her husband William Burton and Ilene and her husband Tasso Pernokes. Grandpa of Cheryl and Callah Burton; Cam, Kyle and Nick Pernokes and Great Grandpa of Dalton. Brother of Harold, Gerald, Hilda and the late Ross, Roy, Joey and Helen. William served overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force during W.W. II and was a 33 year employee of General Motors. William was also a life time member of the Masons (Cedar Lodge). Suddenly at Toronto General Hospital on Thursday, September 26th, 2002 in his 55th year. Beloved husband of the late Linda. Loving father of Vikki and fiance Steve and son Grant and his wife T.J. Cherished Papa of Caelin. Survived by his sister Joyce and husband Al Pischiutta. Sadly missed by his companion Jane MacLean. Peacefully at Memorial Hospital in Bowmanville on Thursday September 26th, 2002. Mark Nuttall in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Bertha Nuttall nee: Stephenson Dier. Dear father of Sharon James of Toronto. Dear stepfather of Pat Ruddy and her husband Bob of Oshawa. Loving grandfather of William Ruddy and his wife Tamara, Michael Ruddy and Matthew Ruddy and his great grandson Will Ruddy. Dear brother of Dorothy McKelvey and her late husband Ted of Gravenhurst, Wesley Nuttall of BC, Bob Nuttall and his wife Marie of Mississauga and Emily Ferguson and her husband Don also of Mississauga. Mark is predeceased by his brothers Howard of BC and Allen of Edmonton and by his parents Robert and Emily of Thunder Bay. Mark is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa. Funeral Service was in the Chapel on Tuesday October 1st at 2:30pm. Interment followed at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. Visitation was one hour prior to service.

PEARSE, Ronald William (Bill) -

Peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2002. Bill, beloved father of Mrs. Liz Dawkins (Brian), Richard (Jacquie) and Michael (Margaret). Dear brother of Donald Pearse, Marnie Armstrong (Don) and the late David (Inez). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Sara, Scott and Stephanie. Bill will be missed by all of his family. In his 38th year. It is with great sadness the the family announces the death of Chris at Sunnybrook Hospital on September 25th, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband, best friend and soulmate of Deneane (nee Buksa). Adored and cherished father to his daughters Kaela and Kassandra (Kasey) whom he was so proud of. Predeceased by his loving mother Noreen Clark and his brother Mark. Dear son of Ray Kyles and his wife Ann. Brother of Stephanie Kyles. Special son-in-law to Wayne and Bonnie Buksa and devoted brother-in-law of David. Will be sorely missed by his special friends Donna Teather and Dennis Cook, also his many other friends and extended family. He was a wonderful person who enjoyed spinning Nancy round the dance floor, charming the girls, sharing good times with friends, pulling pranks, lovingly teasing and playing with his grandkids and the many, many great years spent at ''Oak Lake''.
