(Retired from the Royal Canadian Dental Corps and the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry). On Sunday, January 19, 2003 at the age of 34. Doug was the beloved husband of Elsie for 59 years, the loving father of Laurie, and the very proud “Gramps” of Mike and Chris. He was predeceased by his dear son-in-law Barry. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his many friends and relatives in Whitby, Winnipeg, England and Wales. The family would like to thank the very kind and competent staff of 6F at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. According to Doug’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
