suddenly on Saturday April 19, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 65. Jeanne, loving wife of the late Andrew Larocque. Beloved mother of Angela Larocque and Daniel Hayes, Michelle and her husband Patrick Genereaux, and Francis Larocque. Loving grandmother of Jesse-Lynn. Jeanne will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loved family and friends. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street, Oshawa on Tuesday April 22nd from 7-9 p.m. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday April 23rd at 1 p.m. Cremation. Memorial donations made to Lakeridge Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully on Saturday April 19, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Whitby in her 67th year. Janet, beloved wife of Jack Leroux. Sadly missed by her son Kim Spring of Nelson, BC and his daughter Zoe. Dear sister of Ray Cyr and his wife Marlene and is predeceased by her brother Jerry Cyr. Dear sister in law of Dorothy Cyr, Rene and Gwen Leroux of Clone, ON, and Rejeane Patton of Florida. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Loving father of Richard (deceased), Larry, Tracey and her husband Richard Wodnisky all of Oshawa, Lisa "Bobbi" and her husband David Sweller of New Mexico and Amy McCullough and her fiance Mike Wright both of Hamilton. Dear Papa Pete to Steven, Tia, Thyson, Matthew, Caleb, Lucas and Joshua. Son of the late Eileen and Norman Hayes. Grandson of the late Jessie and Samuel Turpin. Brother of Lawrence McCullough of Kingston. Cherished friend of Gary Wagar of Kingston. Fondly remember by staff and patrons of Larry's Restaurant and Bubbas Pizzeria. Their friendship and kindness towards Pete was comforting to his family. Loving father of Jessica and Terri Ellis of Peterborough, and Zachary and Zoey McLeod of Winnipeg. Son of the late Gordon and Jane McDonald. Dear brother of Betty and her husband Paul Ellis of Peterborough, Linda and her husband Jim Ellis, and half-brother of Frank Dufrane, all of Winnipeg. After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away at his home on April 18, 2003 at the age of 68, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Charlie, beloved husband of 39 years and best friend of Joan (nee Risser). Loving and devoted father of Karl (Elita), Kurt (Linda) and Katrina (Noah). Proud "Gramps" of Charlotte, Kurt Thomas, and Kristopher Charles. Much loved brother of Jean Jenkins (the late Garnet), Tom Merrem, and the late Johanna "Honey" Corrigan (James "Bud"). Dear brother-in-law of Mark Risser (Bea), Barbara "Barb" Oxner (the late Win), the late Robert "Bobbie" Risser (Shirley), and Reginald "Reg" Risser (Ethel). Cherished life long friend Douglas "Dougan" Campbell. At Charlie's request, a private family gathering has been held with cremation to occur. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the support and care given by Sunnybrook Regional Health Centre and Rougevalley Health Systems-Centenary Site, Chemotherapy Clinic. (1930-2003). It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Jim Cane on Thursday, April 17, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Holly Bennett. Jim leaves behind his much loved children, Judith (Ian Fisher) in Ottawa and David (Lynanne) in Oakville and their mother, Mariam Shawley (Edmonton).
