passed away at Marnwood Nursing Home, Bowmanville on Wednesday December 24, 2003. Elva Allen beloved wife of the late Les Lightle. Survived by brother Bill Allen (Fay), sisters-in-law Helen Allen, Margaret Allen and her many nieces and nephews and their families. Pre-deceased by her brothers Ron and Marvin Allen. Interment on Saturday December 27, 2003 at Welcome Church Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made by cheque to the Alzheimer Society or the Parkinson Foundation.

Marjorie was a lady dedicated to her family, community and church, and loved all the little ones she taught. She is sorely missed by her daughters Margaret (Bob Martin) and Catherine; her grandchildren Michael (Abby), Nancy (Rob Farmer) and Andrew, and her great-grandson William. Marjorie was predeceased by her brothers Hugh and William. Friends will be received at ST. Following a lengthy illness, at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, December 23, 2003, Charles Hase, in his 80th year, beloved husband of Maureen (nee Kelly). Dear father of Linda (Paul Passant) of Brantford, Kelly of Saskatoon, Sask., and Pamela Hase-Smith of Brantford. Loving Poppa of Julia Seed, Brett and Sara Smith all of Brantford. Dear brother of Mrs. Mona Thompson of Toronto and Miss Clare Smith of Toronto. Dear brother-in-law of Jack and Ray Kelly of Colborne. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Charlie was employed at Northern Electric for eight years, and at Bell Canada for thirty-one years. He was a Past President of C.W.C. Local 28, and an active member of the Telephone Pioneers. He served overseas during World War II with the Royal Canadian Air Force, and was a member of Branch 43, Royal Canadian Legion in Oshawa. HUNTER, James William
Of Beaverton, after a short and courageous battle fought with dignity and grace. Jim started his journey surrounded by the love of his family on December 23rd, 2003. Mozart guided him to that ultimate trout stream! Jim was the son of the late Patience and John of Kingston and brother of Joyce and Cathy, both predeceased. He was the cherished husband of Ilsa (Tiltins) and adored father of Christopher, Maggie and Alissa (Chris). He was also a 40-year member of ACTRA and Equity. An actor, director, singer and dancer, passionate about his craft and still with us on TV and film. He imparted in all of us his love and respect for nature. The family invites friends to join them in a celebration of Jim's life at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday December 27, 2003.

O'DONNELL, Michael Joseph
At Peterborough Civic Hospital on Tuesday December 23rd, 2003, Michael O'Donnell in his 55th year. Michael will be sadly missed by his wife Linda O'Donnell, his son Kevin, his daughter Lynette, his grandchildren Rachel and Jacob. He is survived by his sisters, Sharon Arnold, Linda Whyte and his brother Tim O'Donnell. Predeceased by his parents Doris and Frank O'Donnell. Mike will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and good friends Bill and Louise Poole. A special Thanks to the staff of the Peterborough Civic Hospital and Dr. Newport for thier excellent care and compassion. Rested at The ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa. Dearest "Grama-Bess" of Dustin, Nicholas, Conner, Jordan, Samantha, Jayden, Tyler & Cameron. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time. RIDGWAY, Marion Lucille (nee Atkinson)
December 23, 2003 at Scarborough Grace Hospital, in her 82nd year, surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jim; her four children, Gail, Wendy, Jackie, and Guy; and grandchildren Kristy, Ashley, Tracy, and Allison. She is sadly missed by her first cousin Judy Cockwell and husband Bill, and by her daughter-in-law, Caroline. Horses were her passion and she has been rejoined with her beloved ''Twilight''. A private memorial service was held on Monday, December 29. The family will receive friends and relatives at 86 Deverell St., Whitby (905-668-8260), on Saturday, January 3, 1-4 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memoriam donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Toronto Humane Society, and the Friends of Algonquin Park.

(Retired teacher of special education at Trafalgar School; V.O.N. Volunteer at the Adult Day Centre, Peterborough). Peacefully and surrounded by her family at her daughter s home in Ennismore on Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at age 76. Loving wife of Richard Roberts of Riverview Manor. Dear mother of Marc and his wife Julie of London, Ontario, Sally and her husband Clare Collins of Ennismore, and Kim and his wife Anna of Beaverton. Proud Grammy of Sam, Ben, Cody, John, and Shane Roberts; Tyler, Emily, Travis, and Josh Collins; Alex, Cassie, Kyle, Tom, Seton, and Taura Roberts. Sister of Ben Driver and his wife Dorothy, Jerry Driver and his wife Wendy, and the late Tom, survived by sister-in-law Sheila, all of England. RUEST, Lorenzo (Larry)
May 17, 1919 to December 23, 2003 passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Gertrude by his side at the Ajax-Pickering Health Centre on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 in his 85th year. Larry is survived by his wife Gertrude (Trudy) (nee Ottenbrite) of 51 years, his brother Jeanot, Onil, Jean Yves, and by his sisters Jeanine, Madeleine, and Ghislaine. Larry was born in Saybec, Quebec, he served 5 years overseas in the Second World War, after the war he lived in Whitby and worked in Oshawa for Canadian National Railways until his retirement. Larry received numerous awards for his relentless charitable service to his community. Prayers Sunday evening 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church (903 Giffard Street, Whitby) followed by cremation. After a courageous battle with cancer Siena passed away peacefully on Monday December 22nd, at the age of 55. Best friend and loving partner of Tony Farrell. Cherished daughter of Siena and the late Tony Bucking. Dearly loved sister of brothers Jan (Diane) of Brechin, Bernie (Betty) of Whitby, Gerry (Pat) of Conestoga, Tony (Jane) of Aurora, Herman (Pat) of Orton, Bill (Lucy) of Blackstock, sister of Corry (John) Schlachter of Ajax, sister and best friend Aggie of Oakville. Siena will always be remembered by her many nieces and nephews especially Jim and Michelle Scarrow and her very special extended family Ashley, Taylor, and Shelley Farrell. A special thank you to Dr. J. MacLennan and the staff of 2-East at Rouge Valley Health Care Centre Ajax. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Siena's life will be held on Saturday December 27th at 4 p.m. at Stouffville Missionary Church 6500 Main St. Stouffville. Reception to follow.
