Joanne was born in Oshawa on February 3, 1954. Prior to moving to Kitigan in Northern Ontario in 1992, she worked as an office clerk at General Motors in Oshawa for 17 years. Her favourite pastimes were camping, gardening and crochet. She was described by family as a loving wife and mother who truly enjoyed the great outdoors and spending much time in the sun. Joanne is survived by her husband Doug Luffman of Kitigan, her two daughters; Leanne Luffman of Sault Ste. Marie and Kelly Luffman of North Bay, her sister Janice Willmore, her brother Wayne Willmore, her father Bill Willmore and her grandfather Bill Young, all of Oshawa.
