Born in Jaddore, Nova Scotia 1917 - Peacefully on Wednesday January 7, 2004 at Extendicare, Oshawa at the age of 86. Mary, beloved wife of the late Keith Hooley. Loving mother of Gladys and her husband Karl Faulkner, Nova Scotia, Keith Hooley Jr. and his wife the late Carron Hooley, Peterborough, Cheryl and her husband Ken Cowling, Oshawa, Dennis Hooley, Scarborough. Loving grandmother of Derick, Dwayne and Donna, Scott, Wayne, Diana, and Leslie, Andrea and Allison, and great grandmother of Ryan, Dylan, Chase, Emma, Laura, Alexander, Logan, Cooper and the late Sarah. Dear sister of the late Harris Baker, the late Ervin Baker, Ernest Baker, Eunice Baker, the late Roy Baker, the late Theodore Baker, and Myrtle Warren, all of Nova Scotia. Dear sister in law of Audrey Baker, Nova Scotia, Marjorie Squarey, PEI, and Bernice Hooley, Richmond Hill. Mary will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. Peacefully on Wednesday January 7th, 2004 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario in her 89th year. Marie Moore beloved wife of the late Rev. Dr. George Moore. Dearly loved mother to Doctor Beryl Moore and her husband Michael Jenkins. Cherished Nana to Lauren, Claire and Madeleine. Survived by her sisters Jean of Northern Ireland, Edith of Prince Edward Island and nieces and nephews in Canada, Northern Ireland, England and Australia. A complete funeral service will be held at St. Andrews - Chalmers Presbyterian Church, 40-B Toronto St. S., Uxbridge, Ontario on Monday January 12, at 2 P.M. Spring Interment at Breadlebane Presbyterian Cemetery, Utica. The family wish to express their thanks to Dr. John Holmes and the staff of 2 East at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington for their care and compassion. Beloved father of Mary Lou and her husband Garry Smith, Bob Short, Harry Short and his wife Catherine, Brian Short and his wife Gail, Karen and her husband Terry Spearing, and Isabelle Hobbs. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Rob Smith, Lori Smith, Sara and Rick Smeall, Cassandra and Carl Cobon, Matthew Short and Shannon Bolan, Angelique Short and Adam Fraser, Tiffany Short, Justin Short, and Katelyn Spearing and the great ones Tyler Smith and Courtney Smeall. Dear brother of Charles and his wife Barbara, James and his wife Audrey and Ross and his wife Jean. passed away peacefully, at the Providence Centre, on January 7, 2004, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Austin. Loving mother of Barry and his wife Mary Lou, and Glenn and his wife Loretta. Proud nana of Matthew, Stephanie, Ryan, Amanda and Christopher. Survived by brother Paul and his wife Hugette and sister Monique and their families. MAHONEY, Edward Joseph
passed away on Tuesday, January 6th, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Mabel. Dear father of Joan and her husband Gordon, Donna and her companion Al, Carol and Wayne. Sadly missed by his three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Eddie was a resident of Ajax for over 60 years. He is survived by four sisters and one brother. Friends will be received at the Accettone Funeral Home on Thursday, January 8th from 3-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 9th at 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church, 21 Bayly Street East. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Durham in Eddie's memory would be appreciated by his family.

Peacefully passed away, on January 6, 2004, at the Community Nursing Home, in Pickering, in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Karol. Beloved mother to Betty and her husband Ron Norrish, Karen and her husband the late Joseph Rennick, and Karol and his wife Carol Bell. Cherished grandmother to Michael (Jill), Kipp (Janice), Cathy (Denis), Ron, Jason (Karen), David (Terri) and Andy, and great grandmother to Paige, Kyle, David, Alexia, Shayne, Victoria, James, Adam, and Dakota. Mary is survived by her brother Percy (Bernice). The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2004.
