Peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Saturday, February 14, 2004, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Helen (September 2003). Loving father of Ted, Diane and her husband Jim Olmstead. Dear Jadek of Kevin. John, a World War II Polish Army veteran, was a prisoner of war in Siberia and fought at Monte Cassino. Arriving in Canada in 1947, he worked at General Motors Oshawa, retiring in 1982. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE ''Thornton Chapel'', 847 King St. West, Oshawa (905-721-1234), for visitation on Monday, February 16, 2004 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, February 17, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. DOBBY, Edward "Ted"
At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Saturday February 14, 2004. Ted Dobby, at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Newall). Loving father of Susan, Jennifer, Richard and his wife Linda, and Michael and his wife Vivian. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan, Kristian and Thomas Madill and Kyle, Christopher and Kirsten Dobby and his great-grandchild Mackenzie. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice 905-432-8484 (4th set of lights east of Townline) with Complete Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday February 19 at 2:30 p.m. The family of Ted will receive friends from 12:302:30p.m. on Thursday. RISEBROUGH, Richard
Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, February 14th, 2004 in his 51st year. Beloved son of Ronald (Joan) of Campbellford, and his late mother Audrey of Oshawa. Survived by his brother Scott, sister-in-law Sandra and nephews Mark and Cole of Calgary, Alberta. Richard will be sadly missed by his Aunt Eileen Sandford and his cousin Debbie. Suddenly, following a snowmobile accident in Bancroft on Friday, February 13, 2004. John, at the age of 30, devoted and loving father of Stephanie and Brandon and adored husband of Cheryl. Loving son of Janis and Michael Pereira and dear son-in-law of Judy and Larry Stogios. Grandson of Elaine and the late Clement Gomes and Gloria and the late John Pereira. Protective brother of his 5 sisters, Michelle (Matt) Blizzard, Melanie (Mike) Tucker, Susanne, Nicole (Jason) Butler and Danielle and loving brother & friend of Chris Stogios and David (Franca) Stogios. Uncle John to Jacob, Sydney, Tristan, Eric, Alex and Dalton. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corp. - Bowmanville on Thursday February 12th, 2004 in her 79th year, after a lengthy illness. Beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother of John (Lynda) and Belinda. Grandmother of Christopher and David. Dear sister of Rebecca (Andy) of Scotland, Elizabeth (Mike) of Indiana. Predeceased by twin sister Agnes. Loving sister-in-law and best friend of Jean Donnelly. Sister-in-law of Martha and Keith Higgins, June and Jimmy Higgins. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Will be sadly missed by family and many friends. Suddenly on Thursday, February 12th, 2004 at the age of 49. Beloved husband of Darlene (nee Tkaczuk). Dear father of Sean Johnston. Loved son of Alison and John Johnston and son-in-law of Bill and Georgie Tkaczuk. Brother of David and his wife Leann and Leslie and her husband Dave Janveaux. At Extendicare on Wednesday, February 11, 2004, Sophie (nee Melnychuk) at 84 years of age. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, Yvonne Shepperdson, and Karen Brack, nerd nephew Larry Melnychuk and their families. Dearly remembered by her grandchildren Gene and his wife Terri, Scott, Jennifer, Kelly, Melissa, Kody and great grandson Tyson.
