At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, February 3, 2004, with his family at his side, at the age of 74. Fred, loving husband of Shirley (nee Allison) for 53 years. Kevin left this loving world on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2004. HALSALL John Reuben
(W.W. II Vet (L/Cpl.) 48th Highlanders Canada). Died with his family at his side on February 1, 2004, in his 90th year. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie in 1997 and grandson Edward Baxter in 2002. Cherished father of Dianne and Ken Duncan of Leamington, John and Viviane Halsall of Kirkland Lake, Mary-Ruth and Randy Roadhouse of Whitby, Susan and Jonathan Baxter of Oshawa and Ted and Eva Halsall of Cannington. Grandpa will be missed by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Grace Stewart, predeceased by sister Lavina and brother William Rushworth. Reuben was born in Cobalt on April 10, 1914. He lived and worked as a miner in Kirkland Lake, moved to North Bay in 1973, and then later to Oshawa to be closer to his family, with plans to spend the summers at his cottage, the Redwood in Northern Ontario. Memorial to celebrate his faith and life to be held in the chapel at Hillsdale Manor, 600 Oshawa Blvd. N., Oshawa, on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 9:30 in the morning.
