Peacefully on Saturday, March 20th, 2004 at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. In his 54th year. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee McLeod). Loving father of Scott and David of Charlotte and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dear son of the late William and Helen Werry. Brother of Dennis and his wife Cindy, Eldon and his wife Anne Marie, and Wendel and his wife Tina. Uncle of John, Robert, Maria, Sarah, Dan, Samantha and Kristen. Don graduated from the University of Guelph and was employed by Farm Credit Canada before returning to the family farm in Oshawa. He enjoyed working with young people through scouting, 4-H and minor sports. Family and friends may be received at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE ''Thornton Chapel'', 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for Visitation on Monday, March 22nd from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at KEDRON UNITED CHURCH on Wednesday, March 24th at 11 a.m. with Visiting from 10 a.m. until time of Service. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to Sunnybrook Cancer Clinic, Kedron United Church or 4-H Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

Retired General Motors Corporation. Peacefully on Saturday March 20, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 74th year. Peter, beloved husband of the late Mia Sybers. Loving father of Mary Ann and her husband Andrew DeLeo. Loved Opa of Michelle. Brother in law of John Sybers of Peterborough, and is survived by family in Holland. Peter gave generously of his time to many Catholic charities and organizations. Special thanks to the staff of Hillsdale Estates and Lakeridge Health Oshawa 8th floor for the compassionate care given to Peter. On Friday, March 19, 2004 at the Dufferin Oaks Nursing Home in Shelburne. The kindest man we had the privilege of sharing our lives with is finally at peace. We celebrate and give thanks for the gift of Joe. His sense of humour and gentle ways will live on in the hearts of those he touched, especially his wife Marie, his children Toni (Davide), Brenda (Jim), Barry (Andrea), Pauline (Sam), and Maureen (Denise). Cherished brother of Gertie Drennan (Dublin). Adored Granda and Dad-Dad of Rebecca, Sarah, David, and James; Emily, Olivia, and John; Ned and Lucy; Emma and Liam. Godfather of Myles O'Riordan. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville, on Tuesday March 23rd at 11 am. HEIKAMP, Jacoba
passed away peacefully at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, Ontario, on Thursday, March 18, 2004 in her 75th year. Jacoba's presence will be deeply missed by her children Anita and Gerrit (Sylvia), her grandchildren Jacinda, Leigh, Corey and Sean, her great- grandchildren Alex, Kaylah and Daniel, as well as family in Holland and the U.S. Jacoba was a beautiful person who demonstrated her people skills as proprietor of a jewellery store. She was a loving individual who gave her time and talent for the benefit of others. The service will be held at the Pickering Village United Church, 300 Church Street North, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-683-4721, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2004. A luncheon will follow. Forever missed by her loving twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Father of Ken and his wife Donna of Uxbridge, Darlene and partner Tom of Maxwell and Michael of Stouffville. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Many thanks to the Staff at Bon-Air Nursing Home in Cannington who will miss his great sense of humour and musical talents.
