At Markham Stouffville Hospital on Wednesday March 17th aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late John Streics. Dear mother of Lilly Monaghan (David) and Jenny Kolodziej (Walter). Loving Oma of Julie, Bonnie, Paula, Michael, Sabrina, and Jeremy. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King St. E. Oshawa with funeral service on Monday March 22nd at 11:00 am. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation at 10:00 am on Monday. Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.

ARYCH, Jean (Krawczyk)
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 85 on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 with her family by her side. She is survived by her children Kathy Findlay, Gloria and Bob Tuerk and Eddie Arych and friend Mel. Loving grandmother of Brett and Aaron Rosnak and Lisa and Scott Verspeeten. Dearly beloved great grandmother of Abby Verspeeten. Jean was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas, Michael, Walter and Eddie. She will be sorely missed by all her surviving relatives and friends. A private visitation with prayers was held at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME Thursday, March 18, 2004. A mass was held at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church on Friday March 19, 2004 at 10:00am followed by private Interment at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Brother-in-law to Ethel Gamble and her family. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Marguette Dwyer. Donald will be sadly missed by his cousins, family and friends. LAVERTY, Francis Edward (Frank)
passed away on Tuesday, March 16th, 2004 at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Frank, beloved husband of Sheila Jenset Laverty and devoted father of Steven Laverty (St. Thomas, Ont.), Julie Laverty (Scotland), Tricia Jenset (Toronto), and Lauren Jenset (Port Perry). Grandfather of Carley, Domenic, Gemma, Lilianna, Maegan, and Shannon and great-grandfather of Daniel. Frank was active in playing, coaching and refereeing soccer, and playing, teaching and directing duplicate bridge. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 70 Toronto Street North, Uxbridge. In Frank's memory, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation Cancer Research.

MACLAM, Maureen Margaret Lillian
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at the age of 41. Beloved wife of Rob. Loving mother of Melanie and James. Dear sister of Barry and Lilah (St. Catharines), Glenn and Holly (Pickering), Steve and Linda (Whitby), Kevin and Marti (Apex, North Carolina), Danny and Magda (Scarborough), James and Sandra (North York), and sister-in-law of Corrine and Ian (Oakville), and Roderick and Angie (Mississauga). Predeceased by her mom Ethyl Morgan. Survived by her mother-in-law Diane Wallace. Maureen will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. DESROSIERS, Donald, E.
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing on March 15, 2004 of Donald E. Desrosiers, born in 1931 to Albert and Ida Desrosiers - our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by Olga, his loving wife of 47 years, his two daughters and their husbands Pat and Stan Damant of Newcastle, Ontario and Judy and Ron Village of North Vancouver, and predeceased by his son Michael. He will be remembered by his brother Bruce and late brother David, grandchildren Tanje, Clint, Donald, Ryan and Jason and three great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Don retired from Lasco Steel in 1985 to Qualicum Beach where he enjoyed fishing, golfing and RV camping, and came to North Vancouver in 2002. Loving brother of Marie Sidor and her husband Kim of Whitby, Joanne Gambel and her husband Brice of Alabama, John Rousseau and his wife Cathy of Brooklin, Brenda Martin and her husband Jim of Whitby. Dear Uncle of Damian, Luke, Camille, Rhea, Marcel, Justin, Jordan, Dion and Katherine. Great Uncle of Emily. Rick will be greatly missed by all Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. CALDWELL, Bonnie
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa at the age of 49, on Sunday March 14, 2004 with her family by her side. Bonnie was born on September 26, 1954 in Fort William, Ontario. She lived a fulfilling life as a mother, a registered nurse, helping others and she enjoyed reading, cooking, cribbage, travel and camping and fishing. Bonnie was predeceased by her father Cecil Arthur Caldwell and brother Patrick Caldwell. She is survived by her children David and Valerie Soltis and Chantelle Juffs, her mother Bernice, brothers Donald (Wendy), Daniel (Zena), and Robert, and sisters Glenna(Carlos) and Wendy (David Nicholson). Many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She will be sorely missed by all her loved ones and friends. A private visitation was held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice 905-432-8484 (4th set of lights east of Townline Rd. Oshawa). A private Memorial Service was held at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa followed by Interment. passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters at Extendicare Nursing Home in Oshawa on Sunday March 14, 2004 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her son Ted. Lovingly remembered by Ted's wife Heather, and their children Laurie and Dan, (Darlene); her daughter Dale (Bob) Austin and her children Glenn (Valerie) Davies, Lisa (Rex) Sikora; son Doug (Lynda) Colbourne and their children Sheri Kurtz and Janet (Eric Trethewey); son Bryan (Joy) Colbourne and their children April (Jason) Williamson, and Luke (Heather) and David and Joel; daughter Joanne McNab and her children Chris (Za Za), and Julie; daughter Faith Lowman and her children Mark (Kate) from England, and Andrew and Paul. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren Ashley, Dean, Sarah, Kandice, David, Emily, Cassie, Gavin, Camielle, Josiah, Joshua, Holly, Amy, Andrew, and Kevin. After a long and courageous battle, Barrie George Lyman, at 67 years of age, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 14th, 2004 at his home.
