(Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #112, Whitby; retired from General Motors in 1977.) Arthur passed away peacefully at his home in Whitby on Thursday March 11, 2004 in his 77th year. Arthur was a devoted husband of 56 years to Muriel "Babe" (nee Rogers). He was the exceptional and cherished father of Karen and her husband Don Munroe, Larry and his wife Yvonne, Robin and her husband Mike Gallant, and Cindy and her husband Larry Harding. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Tracey, Kelly, Daryl, Danielle, Jamie and Jessie, and by his great-grandchildren Tyler and Kaitlyn. As well, his loving sister Bess Lee will miss him greatly. Visitation will be held March 25th from 7:00-9:00 pm, and a memorial service will be held on Friday March 26 at 1:00 pm at the W.C.
