Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 7-9 pm on Wednesday April 7th, 2004. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday April 8th at 1 pm. Cremation. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Port Perry on April 6, 2004 at the age of 92 years. Michael, beloved husband of Tina (Romanuk) for nearly 65 years. Dear father of Elizabeth Alchin and her husband Graham. Predeceased by his son John. Will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by grandchildren, Robbie, Joy, Adam and his wife Michelle, Robin, Cherron and her husband Jamie. The joy of his life for the past 9 years, his great-grand daughter Katie will sadly miss her "Didi". Michael will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held on Thursday, April 8, 2004. Donations in Michael's memory to the Bible League of Canada would gratefully be appreciated.

Dear daughter of the late Lucien Van Belleghem and the late Margerite Vanbelleghem. Dear sister of Maurice, Florent and Julienne. Predeceased by one brother Herman and by one sister Elizabeth. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice, Ontario from 6 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday, April 10, 2004 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby, Ontario. The family will be in attendance from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. ALLEMS, Robert Bruce
Peacefully at the Village of Erin Meadows, Mississauga, on April 5,2004 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (nee Palister). Loving and devoted dad of Michael, Terry (Wendy), and Cheryl (Greg Waring). Proud Grandpa of Robbie, Jordan, Dannah, Mitchell and Brett. Predeceased by his parents Grace and Louis Allems and his brothers Ross and John. Survived by brother Paul (Sondra). Bruce was employed at Ontario Hydro and retired after 40 years service. Bruce was a sportsman, who found relaxation in playing darts, crosswords and spending time with his grandchildren. A great husband, a great father, grandfather and uncle, a great man, who will be remembered always. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Friday. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 10:30 am. A reception will follow at the R.C.L. Branch 606, Pickering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a Charity of your choice.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5th, 2004 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 61 years. Beloved wife of the late Wally Gordensky. Dear mother of Kim and Michael. Devoted Nanny of Shannon and Robbie. Beloved daughter-in-law of Mary (Baba). Lovingly remembered by her family Brian, Sonya, Bob, Deanna, Doris, Ed, Paul and Brenda and many nieces, nephews and friends. HUSBAND, Patricia
Suddenly, after a brief illness, on Monday, April 5, 2004 at Southlake Hospital, Newmarket at the age of 71. Pat leaves her son David (Diane), and daughters Mary Crystal (Lyle), Linda Graham (David), Jackie Molica (Tino), and the girls Kathy and Darlene. Grandchildren Michael, Daniel, Darren, Misty, Samantha, Anthony and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother Gord Morris (Doris), and sisters Betty Bakker (Rudy) and Peggy Daniels (Bill). Pat lived life to the fullest enjoying her winters in Mexico and her summers at the trailer at Young's Point. Her infectious laugh, sense of humour and her feistiness will live on in our hearts and memories. Heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful nurses and staff, Drs. Nathanson and McKinnon of Southlake Hospital, Newmarket and her physician Dr. Noland of Colborne, the staff at the Armstrong Funeral Home, Oshawa and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Oshawa. Honouring Pat's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43, 471 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa. (Employee of Hunt’s Bakery, Loblaws Oshawa Shopping Centre, for 14 years; immigrated from England to Oshawa in 1960). Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Whitby, on Monday, April 5, 2004, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Adam Bell Logan. Loving mother of Dorothy Nickerson of Whitby, David Edward Logan and his wife Patricia of Santa Monica, California, and Gaye and her husband Clifford (Kiffy) Dixon of New Brunswick. Sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of John Walters of Berwick-on-Tweed, England. Survived by nieces and nephews in England. She will always be remembered for her love of traveling. Following cremation, a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Proud grandfather of Matthew, Kennedy, and Mikayla. Son of the late Jack and Evelyn MacDonald. Beloved brother of Helen Heffer, Keith and wife Marilyn and Allan. Sadly missed by in-laws John and Mary Fawcett, and Grace and Ken Brown. Always remembered by many nieces and nephews. On Monday, April 5th, 2004 at Versa Care Centre, Uxbridge, in her 71st year after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's. Mary, beloved wife of George. Dear mother of Rose (predeceased) and husband Neil Carlin, Tom (Jean), Linda (Pat) McKenna, Dick (Jan), and Harry (Angie). Grandmother of Stephanie, Amanda, Vicky, David, Mary, Holly, Tommy, Melissa, Genny, Amy, Evan and Candace. Survived by her sister Alice (Stan) Cowan. Resting at the Low & Low Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday, April 9th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 10th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In Mary's memory, donations may be made to the Leaskdale Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Alzheimer Society.

(March 2, 1937 - April 5, 2004). It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Ruth Prescott after a courageous battle with cancer. Marilyn passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those she loved. Marilyn, daughter of the late Sam and Irene Jackson, beloved wife of Jim, mother of Dianne and her husband Scott, John and his wife Andrea, sister of Aureen and her husband Vern, and of the late Sam D. Jackson; cherished grandmother of Brock, Dylan, Hunter, Logan and Chelsea; loving aunt of Susan and Frank, Bill and Carol, Judy and Allan and their families; dear friend of Marvyn and Barb, Sam and Tracey, Nancy and Glen. Marilyn will be deeply missed by her many dear friends.
