Suddenly, on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, at age 59. Jean Pierre von Gunten of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of Carmen (nee Palao). Loved son of Robert and the late Georgette von Gunten in Switzerland. Dear brother-in-law of Luis Medrano and his wife Amalia of Aurora. Loving uncle of Jose Luis, Fiorella, Anna and Juan. He will also be sadly missed by family in Switzerland, Peru and the U.S.A. The family of Jean Pierre von Gunten will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Saturday, June 5th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.

Peacefully on Tuesday, May 18, 2004. Loving mother to Carmel and the late Osmond. Dear sister to Olga Worrell (Georgia) and Ignatius (Guyana). Olivia will be sadly missed by her 20 grandchildren and by her many great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday from St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church, at 10:30 a.m., 1148 Finch Avenue (west of Liverpool).

Passed away peacefully at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on May 18th, 2004. In her 75th year. Beloved wife of Ross for over 53 years. Dear mother of Dawn (Tom) Szuba, Sandra (Ian) McDonald and Tammey (Jeff) Darby. Proud Gramma of Lee, Bennett, Shayna, Jeff and Jake. Family and friends are invited to visit Low & Low Funeral Home Uxbridge, on Friday, May 21st, 2004 from 6 - 8 p.m. only. Private family service on Saturday, May 22, 2004. Died peacefully at Extendicare Oshawa on Tuesday May 18th, 2004. Survived by son Ken, of Toronto, and daughter Margaret, of Calgary. Predeceased by husband Edgar Gray. A funeral service was held at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday May 20th.

LEE, Graham Samuel
Age 79 year. Peacefully at Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa on Tuesday May 18th 2004. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Racheal Lee. Loving Dad of Barb & her husband George Arnburg and Gwyneth Prout. Dear Grandad of Tracey & her husband Mike Shank, Tammy Prout, Tara Prout (Wayne), Lisa Arnburg, Travis & Krista Prout. Predeceased by his grandson Carl Arnburg (2002). Will be sadly missed by all his great grandsons. Survived by his sister Lilian Lee & brother Laurie & his wife Betty Lee of Luton, England. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home one hour prior to service. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday May 20th 2004 at 11 am. MCLEISH, Fay Pauline
Suddenly at her residence, Oshawa on Tuesday, May 18th, 2004; in her 71st year. Fay McLeish, daughter of the late Ross and Audilene McLeish. Sister of Malcolm McLeish and wife Mary of Washago. Aunt of Ross & wife Heather McLeish, Karen & husband Mike Hooper all of Etobicoke, Shane McLeish & wife Tracy of Washago and Greg McLeish & wife Valerie of Tottenham. Great Aunt of 4 nieces and 6 nephews. The late Fay McLeish will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday, May 26th from 2 o'clock until time of Funeral Service at 3'clock. Much loved mother of Bill and his wife Marie, Judy and her husband Tom Lewis, Larry and his wife Donna, Sandra and her husband Dave Shankland, Joyce and her husband Keith Edwards, Murray, Chester and Ian. Predeceased by her eldest son Ken. Grandmother of Brenda, Ken, Jamie, Laura, Alan, Scott, Darryl, Courtney, Dave, Phil, Wes, Jody, Susan, Lynn, Blaine and Kaylie. Great Grandmother of Kristen and Madeline. Predeceased by her brother Ray Scott, survived by his wife Beryl. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN LTD., 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin Village from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Wednesday. Then to Brooklin United Church where visitation will commence from 1 P.M. with service to follow in the church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock . Interment to follow at GROVESIDE Cemetery. Suddenly at home on Monday May 17, 2004 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of JoAnn. Predeceased by wife Patricia Ann. Survived by his father Leonard. Loving grandmother of Jeremy, Sarah, Christopher, Rachel and Laura and great grandmother of Talon and Oliver. FERGUSON, Jennie Lucy
Passed away peacefully on Sunday May 16, 2004 at the Rouge Valley Health Centre, Ajax, Ontario at the age of 88. Wife of Ralph Sim and previously married to Clarence Marshall Parker, she was the daughter of the Late Norman and Maude (nee Wellwood) Fenton of Hants County, Nova Scotia. Over 30 years a nurse (private duty, Halifax County Hospital and the Halifax Infirmary), she enjoyed a long retirement with Ralph in Ontario. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Enna (Parker) Judd and her husband Stanley, her son Gordon Parker and his wife Emily, and her daughter Heather Ferguson. Cherished grandmother of Patrice, Michele, Stephanie, Janice and Ian. Beloved great-grandmother of Daniella, Chantale, Renee, Samantha and Adamo. Dear sister to Vera, Norma, Ferne, Hazel and the late Ross and Reginald. Relatives and friends will be received at the Accettone Funeral Home on Thursday May 20, 2004 from 12 noon until the time of service in the chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

PETERSEN, Allan Jorgen
Passed away peacefully at home in Uxbridge on May 16th with family at his side. Al's wife Dorothy Tully-Petersen and sons Derek and Curtis will miss him, as will his parents Ib and Elna Petersen, and his mother-in-law Margaret Tully who always called Allan her "Number One Son". His brother Eric Petersen and wife Wendy and their children Emily, Cole and Ben will miss "Uncle Allan" fossil hunting and tossing the football on camping trips. Sister-in-law Deb Tully-Waffler and her son Karl will miss Al too, as will Al's aunt May Pedersen and her family, Dorothy's family, Al's co-workers at Futurecom Systems Group in Vaughan, and his close friends Steve Cornell and Mel & Alex McKnight and their families. Family and friends may call the Low & Low Funeral Home, on Wednesday May 19th from 7-9p.m. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Thursday May 20th at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
