Formerly of Whitby, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, in his 86th year. He was a partner in King Bros. Tannery, served on the Town Council, and was active in Rotary for many years. His wife Ann predeceased him in 2001. Loving father of Mona, Paul and Leon. Devoted grandfather of 7. Brother of Ruth King and the late Oda Pritzker. Funeral service was held at Holy Blossom Temple, in Toronto, on Thursday, July 29, 2004. Donations may be made to the Charles T. passed away Peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Tuesday July 27th 2004 in her 68th year. Peggy wife of Alvin Schrader. Loving mother of Rick Dunn and his wife Cathy, Mike Dunn and his wife Yanis, Brad Dunn and his wife Susan, Lynn Dunn, Sandy Clarry and her husband Dave, Jennifer Eppel and her husband Mike, Jason Schrader and dear grandmother of 14 wonderful grandchildren. Sister of Patti Callaghan, Phyllis Isuruda and her husband Sam, Jimmy Callaghan and survived by step-father Joe Callaghan. (Peggy retired after 27 years with Canada Post and was the first female letter carrier in Oshawa). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

BROWN, Robert James
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful and unexpected passing of Robert at the Rouge Valley Health System, Ajax on Monday, July 26, 2004, in his 60th year. BURNS, Pearl (nee Smith)
On Monday, July 26, 2004 at Kingston General Hospital, at the age of 58, Pearl lost her courageous battle with cancer. It was her positive sense of humour during her battle that gave the family their strength. Pearl was a 27 year employee of Daimler Chrysler Trim Plant in Ajax. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and she was an avid gardener and reader. Pearl was a loving wife to Derek John Burns. Admired mother of Michelle (Christopher) Cadeau, Jamie (Jodi) Burns, David (Stacie) Burns, Fiona Burns, and Andrew Burns. Adored grandmother of Lauren, Lukus, Braedon, Avery, and Miriah. Fondly remembered by her loving brother Robert (Marina) Smith, and sister-in-law to Geoff (Jean) Arkell. Pearl will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. The family wishes to thank the staff at Kingston General Hospital, and all her nurses from the V.O.N. Loving sister of Sien Eikens of Orono, Henk and his wife Frances Mensen of Castleton, Lietje and husband Hendrik Brunen, Herman and wife Annie Mensen, Theo and wife Marietje Mensen, Jan Mensen, and the late Annie Westerman and Gert Mensen, all of Holland. Sister of Mary Fielding and Frances Stong, and predeceased by her brother George Renton and sister Lucy Renton. Grace will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, friends and devoted caregivers Joy and Inez. Peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on Sunday, July 25th, 2004. Beverley (nee Brokenshire), dear daughter of the late Williams and Queen Brokenshire. Longtime companion of Grant Irvine, loving mother of Billie and Michael. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jason and Leanne. Beverley will be sadly missed by her brothers Paul Brokenshire (Barb), and David Brokenshire, her sister Anne Chapman (Bob), her nieces, nephews and by her friends Carol, Bill and Nika Mitchell and Reba Lattrulo. BROWNSON, Evelyn (nee Druce)
After a lengthy illness, passed into God's hands peacefully in her 84th year at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, on Saturday July 24, 2004. Predeceased by her beloved husband Simon. Lovingly remembered as a dear mother of Gloria, Ruth, Diane, Art and David. Sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00am Friday July 30, 2004, in the chapel at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2000 Dundas Street East, Whitby. Interment of her cremation will follow in the Cemetery.

FOOTE, Cynthia Gaye ''Cindy'' (nee Shaw)

Loving sister of Cathy Rutter, Carol Babcock (Todd), Richard (Kelly) and Allan (Cheryl). Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Murray Shaw. Dear daughter-in-law of Calvin Sr. and Jean Foote. Cindy will be sadly missed by her family, nieces, nephews and friends. Dearly beloved wife of Alvin for 50 years. Loving mother of Robert and his wife Cheryl, Jane Ann and her husband Norman Tillson. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy, Krysta and her husband Sidney, and great grandmother of Summer, Cierra, Savannah and Braeden. Predeceased by brothers Errol, Vern, Clare, Edward Ted , Jack, Dalton; a sister Jane and her parents John Bob Griffiths and Hannah (nee Turner). Survived by sisters-in-law Betty Griffiths of Lumsden, Saskatchewan, Lilla Gilroy of Springhill, Nova Scotia, and Jean Fraser of Kingston, Ontario. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
