Leaving to mourn with many happy memories, her son Ed (Nellie), Queen`s Cove, grand-daughter Shelley (Carman Carroll), St. John`s, great-grand-daughters, Natalie Hunter, Rebecca Carroll and Susan Cadman (Rick), and a large circle of family and friends, especially members of the ACW and UCW of Queen`s Cove, both of which she was a life long active member, and the congregation of St. Aidan`s Church, Queen`s Cove, where she was an organist for over thirty years. KIELLY, James Patrick - Of Williamsford and formerly of Bay Roberts, NL. passed away on August 5, 2003 in his 86th year. Devoted husband of Wendy (nee Thompson); step-son of Annie Stapleton of St. John`s, NL; dear father of Peter (Gaynor), Stephen (Anne), Martin (Diane), Neil (Margaret), Julia, Joanna, Daniel, Jane (Greg), Timothy (Stacy). He will also be missed by his eight grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, John and Agnes Kielly; his brother John and his sister Patricia. Jim, a veteran of WWII, served with the RAF in Europe, North Africa and Burma. He retired from the airforce in 1962. His love and association with aviation took him to Korea, Singapore, Cyprus and Saudi Arabia until finally retiring to Williamsford, Ontario. Friends will be received at the CURRIE FUNERAL HOME in Chatsworth on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. thence to St. Stanislaus R.C. Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. A legion memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday evening at 9:00 pm. ADAMS, Josephine (Jo) - passed away on September 27, 2001 after six weeks of illness at Newton Regency Care Home, Surrey, BC. CAREW, William Alphonse - Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Monday, January 27, 2003, after a short, but courageous battle with cancer, William Alphonse Carew, age 67 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife Geraldine; children: Kenneth (Marguerite), David and Verna (David Burkinshaw); five dearly loved grandchildren: Meghan, Mark, Matthew, Melanie and James; sisters: Aneitha Sheaves and Selena Parsons; brothers: Frank (Mary) and Eric (Sylvia), and many other relatives and friends. POWER, Maude Elliott (nee Stroud) - passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
