BOWERMAN, Gail Marie - RPN (nee Cammidge)
After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Gail passed away on August 13, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Corporation, Oshawa, at the age of 52. Predeceased by her mother Earline. Survived by her father John, husband Gary, son Ryan, daughter Sabine, daughter-in-law Dana and grandson Markus. Sister of Gary, John, Lee, Melody, Sherry, Kathy, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. ''Death shall not fade her love of life'' Gail will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who love her as she loved them. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

GONDEK, Andrew Sr.
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Whitby on Friday August 13, 2004 in his 82nd year. Andrew was in his 60th year of marriage and will be lovingly remembered by his wife Stella. Beloved father of 2 sons Richard and his wife Liz and Zbigniew (Andy). Truly missed by his grandchildren Noel and his wife Melody, Stephanie, Cody, Andrew, and his 3 great grandchildren Joseph, Taylor and Dillon and his niece Alicia and her husband Alan. Andrew rested at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. Oshawa with mass of Christian burial at St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday August 17, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Prayers were held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Visitation Monday August 16th 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Many thanks by the Gondek family to the doctors and staff of 4 East at Lakeridge Health Whitby.

MOSEK, Stanislaw (Stan)
October 27, 1916 to August 13, 2004. Peacefully, at Northumberland Hospital-Cobourg, aged 87 years. Born in Sadkowice, Poland. Stan married Wanda Lubinska in 1946 in Germany. Stan emigrated to Canada in 1948. He was joined by his wife Wanda and son Zdzislaw (Stan) in 1949. Son Stefan was born in 1951, the family resided in Montreal until 1969 when they moved to Oshawa, Ontario. Pop was a veteran of the Second World War, as a Lance Corporal of the 39th Infantry Regiment. He was also a member of the General Sikorski Polish Veterans Association in Oshawa. Pop was predeceased by his first wife Wanda in 1984. In 1991 Pop married Kazimira Patrzek. At the time of his death they resided in Cobourg, Ontario. Left behind to mourn his passing are his sons Zdzislaw (Stan) and his wife Debbie, and Stefan and his wife Sharon. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Tammy, Vanessa, Jonathan, Adam, Jayson and his wife Anita. Survived by his wife Kazimira. A special thank you to Dr. Bayer and all of the staff at Northumberland Hospital for their wonderful care. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday August 18th, 2004 at 10:00 am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday.

STANLEY, Hazel (Mabel) (nee Enright)
passed away peacefully in her home in Ajax on Friday, August 13th, 2004, in her 78th year. Mabel, beloved wife of the late Ronald Stanley. Dear mother of Lenore and her husband Wally Harwood and Allan and his wife Dorrie. Loving sister of Chuck Enright and Earlene Wright. Predeceased by her brother Frank and sisters Grace, Shirley, Maisy, Julie and Marina. She will long be remembered by her grandchildren Ronny, Christine, Allan, Blair, Julie, Kyle, Cindy and Stacey and 16 great-grandchildren.

CROKE, Donna Marie (nee Coe)
Peacefully, on Thursday, August 12, 2004, at the Rouge Valley Health Centre, Ajax. Beloved wife of the late Derek Croke. Dear mother of Heather and Billy and loving granny of Keenan. Beloved daughter of Bill and Nancy Coe. Donna will be greatly missed by her brother Dave, his wife Lynn and their children Ryan, Sean and Daniel. Beloved granddaughter of Carrie Bennett. Donna will be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles and their families. She will be fondly remembered by Derek's family.

DOIRON, Deborah Ann (nee Allen)
Entered into a peaceful sleep at Lakeridge Health Corp., Oshawa, on Thursday August 12, 2004 at 51 years of age, after a long and courageous battle with Kidney Disease. Deborah, dearly beloved wife of Gerald and special loving mother of Barry. She was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia to the late Rebecca and Ceril Allen and beloved step-daughter of the late Edward Atkinson. Deborah will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph The Worker Parish (corner of Beatrice Street and Mary Street) on Monday August 16th at 11:00 am. Cremation. Family will be receiving friends at St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Monday from 10 - 11 am. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family, and may be made through the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa.

KYDD, Gordon William
passed away peacefully at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital with his family by his side. On Thursday, August 12, 2004 at age 84. Gordon beloved husband of Pauline and loving father of Robin (Manon). Brother to Muriel (Robert), Carl (June), Joyce (Allan), and Mary Kydd. Predeceased by sister Eileen (Eric), and brother John (Betty). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law in Uxbridge and Edmonton. Cremation. MUCHE, Diane
Unexpectedly at her home on August 11, 2004 at the age of 60. Loving and devoted wife of her much loved husband, the late Herb. She will be deeply missed by her faithful companion Thunder. Survived by her two sisters, Rose and June; and many nieces and nephews. Forever in the hearts of Joann and Stephen; Becky, Stephan and Braydon, and godson Phillip. Following Diane's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to be held in the chapel of Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2000 Dundas St. East, Whitby, on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 11 a.m.

November 13, 1937 - August 11, 2004. It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Joan in her 66th year on Wednesday August 11, 2004, while vacationing in Nova Scotia. KING, Violet Bernice (nee Quinn)
On Monday August 9, 2004 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa with her family by her side, following a brief illness. Born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia to the late Annie and Alfred Quinn and formerly of Springhill, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her husband Rod (Podge) King. Survived by her four children, daughter Sharon and Ron, son Jack and Darlene, daughter Valerie and Don and son Roderick and Natalie. Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Survived by her 3 sisters Roz, Grace and Mary. Predeceased by her 3 sisters, Lyla, Isabel and Sadie and her 5 brothers, Alfred, William, John, Frankie and Alexander. After losing her first husband, Joseph Reid, in the Springhill Mine disaster of 1958, Violet remarried and moved to Oshawa where she continued to live up until the time of her death. She enjoyed playing ball and was on a team with her daughter Sharon which was coached by Sharon's husband Ron and sponsored by Violet's husband Rod - King's Lock and Key Service. She enjoyed cooking, especially making cheese biscuits for her children and grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her family, and dancing. A special thank you to Dr. Fung and the nurses on 7 main at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Tanya Kurij and Anastasia and Rebecca Blake. Dear sister of Stella Burnyk and her husband Tony and the late Doris Holyk, Sylvia Dushenko and Walter Lysij. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, their families and her friends.
