(Formerly of Montreal) Suddenly, at her home in Oshawa Ontario, on Saturday, September 25, 2004, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Gerald (Jerry) for 58 happy years. Loving and cherished mother of Gerald (Jerry) and his wife Madeline Rajotte, Howard of Vancouver, Cynthia (Cindy) and her husband Ron French. Devoted ''Nana'' to Kimberley and her husband David Jordon, and Bryn. Dear sister of Tommy Martin and his wife Margaret McBrine and the late Andrew (Edna), Margaret (Jim) MacDonald, Mima (Eddie) Conlin, John (Mary), Bill (Sheila), Claire (Dom) Heffernan, Danny and Dolly. Sister-in-law of Norma Maisonneuve. Lovingly remembered by her step-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their families. FOWLER, Evelyn May
After a very full life at 102 years of age, Evelyn passed away in her sleep. Evelyn came from England with her parents at 2 years of age. Oshawa was home to Evelyn for over 100 years. A dear wife and mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Evelyn and her late husband Reg enjoyed travelling extensively. Dear mother of Bob and his wife Joan and the late June White and her husband Bill. Predeceased by her sister Mildred Scammell and her brother Lawrence Drage. Also dearly remembered by her grandchildren Louise (David); Brent (Milija); Lynn (Tom) and great-grandchildren Marian and Kate. A special thank you to the caring staff at Hillsdale. A very special thank you to Evelyn's relatives and to Peggy and Ivan for their kindness and frequent visits with Evelyn. Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday September 28 from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service hour at 11 o'clock a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Born in 1924 in London, England, and came to Canada in 1926. Loved husband for 51 years of Beatrice (MacDonald) Ibbotson. Loving father of Catherine and John (Butler), Eva and Jerry (Verriet), Carol and Ivan (Bradburn), Jennifer and John (Mutton), Dale (Debbie), Doug Jr. (Sherry), and Tim. Loving grandfather of Dale Jr., Stephanie (Jim), Brianna (James), Brett, Janine, and Katie. Fondly remembered also by son Wayne. (Retired employee of General Motors) Peacefully passed away, on September 25, 2004 at Strathaven Life Care Centre, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Loving father to Dennis (Pauline), Robert (Arlene) and the late Connie. Cherished grandpa to Julie, Todd, Doc, Josh and great-grandfather to Madison. KORELL, G. Mae
Formerly of Welland, peacefully at the Strathaven Nursing Home in Bowmanville, on Friday, September 24, 2004 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman Korell. Cherished mother of David Korell (Marion) of Oshawa. Loving grandmother of Norman Korell (Melanie) and their children Kaitlyn & Kirsten and Harold Korell (Alison) and their daughter Savanna. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by parents Ernest W. and Margaret Cryer, brother David Cryer and sisters Mabel Cryer, Ivy Gittere and Mary Acaster. Born in Stockton-on-Tees, England, Mrs. Korell moved to Canada in 1921, coming directly to Welland. She was employed as the Head of the Classified Department of the Welland Tribune for some 16 years, retiring in 1970. Mrs. Korell was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #47, Welland and Past Matron in 1949 & 50. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church for over 80 years, a choir member for 22 years, a Girl Guide Captain, a Past President of Anglican Young People's Association (AYPA) and a former treasurer of the Lincoln and Welland of AYPA. As well, she was a former member of the Ladies Niagara Peninsula Shrine Club of Bokhara Court and the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Bokhara Court #22, Toronto. Friends are invited to visit the family on Monday, September 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Reverend Dan Bennett will conduct the funeral service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 77 Division Street, Welland, on Tuesday, September 28th at 11:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to either Holy Trinity Church or the Canadian Cancer Society, would be deeply appreciated by the family. Grandmother to Laurie Ann, Tom, Michael, Stephen, John, Emily and Andrew.

MATTHEWS, Robert
On Thursday September 23, 2004 at Lakeridge Whitby Hospital. Beloved husband of Mona. Loving father of Per and father-in-law of Jacquie. Devoted Farfar to Dylan and Kyle. Survived by brother Terry and family of Hornchurch England. Robert will also be missed by the Phipps family of Harefield England and his many friends in England, Canada and Sweden. Robert worked as a chemist for Morny in England and joined Vanda Beauty Counsellors in Canada in 1964. His last 5 years of work were spent at Isomedix in Whitby. In respecting Robert's wishes there will be no funeral service. A special grateful thank-you to Dr. Shepley and nursing staff at Lakeridge Whitby.
