(Former Employee of Sears Oshawa). Peacefully at Ballycliffe Nursing Home in Ajax on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2004 in her 90th year. Dear wife of the late Elmere MacDermaid. Much loved mother of Nadine Kennedy and her husband Patrick and Colleen MacDermaid and her husband Frank Robinson. Dear Grandmother of Joshua and Jarred Kennedy and John and Dena Robinson. Great Grandmother of McKenna Martell. Dear sister of Louise Loader, Bryce Thompson, Vincent Thompson, and Duane Thompson and his wife Marjorie. Predeceased by sister Marion Labrash and brothers Sherman Thompson, Gerald Thompson, Isaiah Thompson, Vernon Thompson and Robert Joseph Thompson. Survived by sisters-in-law Ada Thompson, Sarah Thompson, June MacDermaid and Patricia MacDermaid. Beloved son of Chris (deceased) and Reta, died suddenly of a heart attack at his Toronto residence. Mike will be sadly missed by his sister Patty Calder and her husband Don of Orangeville, his niece Michele and family from London, Ontario and his nephew Mike and family from Calgary. MUSORONCHAN, Andrew (Andy)
(40 year retiree of General Motors, member of Parkwood Masonic Lodge, the Oshawa Shrine Club and an employee of Guardian Drug Store). Passed away, after a brief battle with cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on September 22, 2004, one day after his 71st birthday. Dearly beloved husband, best friend and soulmate of Shirley (McGlashan) for 50 years on October 9, 2004. 'A great dad' to Sue Kay (Andy), Terri Adkins (Rick) and Kim Makara. Son of Helen and the late William Musoronchan. Brother of Marion Sobczak (Larry) and Emillie O'Neil (Bill). Grandfather to Jackie Birtwistle, Melissa and Dani Adkins, Jessica (Pat), Cassie and Katie Makara. Great-grandfather of Jayden. We would like to thank Rajni Kasset, Dr. Wright, Dr. Sharma and the nurses on the 8th floor, who not only looked after Dad but also us as a family. We would also like to thank Access to Care, especially Rita, Linda and Barrie who looked after Dad, so he could stay home as long as possible. (Former Mayor of Oshawa 1953-1957, Over 50 year member of Cedar Masonic Lodge, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, WWII Veteran). At Hillsdale Estates on Tuesday September 21, 2004. Jack Naylor at 98 years of age, beloved husband of the late Mabel (nee Canning). Loving father of Brenda Holden (Bob) of Oshawa, and Sandra Robertson (John) of San Jose, California. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Elizabeth Holden (Ray Porrill), Jennifer Howell (Jon), Allison Foote (Jeff), Rob Holden (Louise), Eric Robertson (Jeannie Pappas), and Heather Robertson, and by his great-grandchildren Jordon & Sarah Rutter, Rob Holden Jr., Jordan & Janelle Foote, and Maria & Elianna Robertson. Born in Parkside Saskatchewan in 1912, died peacefully in her 93rd year at Thorntonview Nursing Home on Sunday September 19th, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Thomas. Loving mother of Robert (Elizabeth). Grandmother of Vita, Heather, Amber and great grandmother of Quinton. Survived by her sister Agnes Klein of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and many relatives in Western Canada. Special thanks to all the staff at Thorntonview Nursing Home for their care and support.
