Loving father of Lorraine Brandt, Michael, Stephen, Mary Chandler, Richard and Peter Binns. Lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Alfred. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, “Thornton Chapel” 847 King St. West, (905-721-1234), on Thursday September 16th from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon at SAINT MARY OF THE PEOPLE CHURCH, 570 Marion Ave., Oshawa. BROWNING, Margaret
50 year Member Whitby Chapter No. 248 Eastern Star; Member of Benevolent Rebekah Lodge No. 132, Whitby; Associate of Easter Lodge No. 350, Pickering; and Member of R.C.L. Branch 322, Ajax. passed away surrounded in the love and warmth of her family on September 4, 2004 at Winbourne Park, Ajax, at the age of 82. Beloved and devoted wife of the late George. Loving mother of Peggy Anne, Rick and his wife Heather, and Beth and her husband TJ Jacobs. Proud grandmother of Philip and Jaclyn Browning; and Ryan, Kevin and Samantha Matthies. Dear sister-in-law of Lily and Truman Rutherford. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Dear Pumpa of Shayne, Melissa, Matthew, Jennifer, Sara and Ryan. Great Pumpa to Damon, Cassidy and Willow. Brother of Annette and her husband Tom Iliffe. A Private Service was held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 7th, at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel”. Interment was at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. FRANK, Walter
Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Centre, Bowmanville on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at the age of 78. Walter Frank, beloved husband of Pearl for 49 years. Loving father of Allan and Cynthia, and Steven and Susan-Jane. Devoted grandfather of Madelaine. Walter was the respected founder of W. Frank Real Estate. Service will be held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (2 lights west of Dufferin) on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Walter Frank Memorial Fund for the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation, c/o The Benjamin Foundation, 3429 Bathurst St. Toronto, ON M6A 2C3, 416-780-0324. There will be a Celebration of Walter's life to take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday September 9th, 2004 at Harmony Creek Golf Centre , 1000 Bloor St. E., Oshawa (across from the Holiday Inn). Walter will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

FULFORD Mary (Nee Duncanson)
Peacefully on September 4, 2004 with her family by her side, in her 83rd year at Walnut Grove Residence, Oshawa. Mary, loving wife of Eric for 54 years. Devoted mother to Nancy and Brian French, and Ian and his fiancee Susan. Dear sister to Janet, Margaret and the late John. Granny will be missed by Kaitlin and Grant. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Walnut Grove Residence. In Mary's memory, donations to the Toronto East General Hospital Oncology Clinic would be greatly appreciated.

HOOPER, Dale John
Suddenly, in Toronto at a job he loved with his dog Kita by his side. Dale, of Barrie, in his 46th year. Son of Margaret and the late Walter Hooper of Oshawa and Anne Smithers of Waterloo. Brother and friend to Erin and her husband Stephen Primeau of Courtice. Much loved Uncle of Brian and Kyle. Dale will be sadly missed by all his friends in Barrie. KEMP, Ralph William "GUMP"
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corp. Whitby, on Saturday September 4, 2004, at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Sybil Kemp (nee Gibbs). Lovingly remembered by his son David Kemp and his wife Rejeanne, of Sherwood Park, Alberta. Loving grandfather of Chris, Stephanie, Jennifer, Michael, Pierre, and Annick. He also leaves behind, his 7 great grandchildren Christine, Melissa, Caleb, Nicholas, Gennaro, Mikaila, and Erin. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday September 9, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery. Then to Holy Family Catholic Church, 91 Ribblesdale Ave., Whitby for Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations to the Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Parish Prayers will be said in the chapel Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m.

Peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on Saturday September 4, 2004 in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his first wife Effie Owen and by his second wife Lila Strikefoot. Beloved son of the late W.D.C. Whalley and Carrie Mildred Hurlburt. Left to mourn are his brothers and sisters Lorna, Earl, Garth (Shirley), Sheila (Ernest), Don (Anita), Doris (Edgar), Ruth (Cy), Hazel (Lawrence), Bill (Simone) and Keith (Dawn) and his sister-in-law Viena. Predeceased by his sisters Gertrude and Mildred, and brother Bob. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends in Oshawa may recall that Ernie worked as a mechanic for General Motors. The funeral service to be held at Trinity United Church on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Algonquin Nursing Home, the Mattawa Hospital Building Fund or the Calvin Township Public Cemetery would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Born 12:08 A.M. on Thursday September 2, 2004 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz. and went to see Jesus on Thursday September 2, 2004 at the age of 17 hours. Faith is loved and cherished by her parents Wade and Shannon Burrows, her sisters Grayson, Kennedy and Riley of Little Britain and grandparents Dave and Carol Burrows and Ken and Trudi Weeks all of Parry Sound. Faith will be sadly missed by all her extended family and close friends. Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Port Perry on Sunday September 5, 2004 from 3 to 5 P.M. A funeral service was held in the church at 5:30 P.M. Donations to the Durham Region Pregnancy Help Centre or the Mt. Sinai Special Pregnancy Programme would be appreciated.

Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, September 2, 2004, in his 83rd year. Loving husband of the late Irene May (nee Booth). Survived by his brother Clarence Andrew Morgan and his wife Evelene of Peterborough and their daughter Linda and family, as well as other nieces and nephews.
