Passed away peacefully, on the 10th of November, 2004, in Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late George Davey Armstrong.Much loved mother of George and wife Audrey, Ross and wife Annette. Grandmother of Glen (Sue), David, Andrew (Colleen), Tracey (Michael). Great-grandmother of Jessica and Sara, Matthew and Nicole, Holly and Ryana. Many, many nephews and nieces, a large extended family and too many special friends to count. The family wish to extend hearthelt thanks to Durham Access to Care, Partners in the Community Nursing and Com Care without whom Dorothy could not have spent her last few months at home in Oshawa, especially Terry, Shannon, Margaret, Brenda, Carol, Gwen, and Kim. Also to Dr. Chor and the staff on the Eighth Floor of Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital. If we have missed anybody, you are in our thoughts. We thank you all.Her wishes were for immediate cremation. A committal will be held at the graveside on the 20th November at 11:00 a.m.

Passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa on Tuesday, November 9th, 2004, in her 84th year. Betty was predeceased by her husband Gerald and daughter Vivian. Granny will be missed by Kris and Jenna, Amanda, Barbara and Holly. We will tell little Isaac all about his Great Granny. Betty graduated from nursing in 1943 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie.
