BARROW, Theresa Mary
Passed away at home, after a long courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Roger Barrow for 45 years. Loving mother of Jamie Hanley and her husband Daniel, Joanne Lamont and her husband Dave, John and his wife Lisa Barrow, Jason and his wife Christina Barrow, Nancy and her husband Jack Pearce. Cherished Nanny of her grandchildren, Shannon and Dean, Ryan and Brandi, Melanie, Mike, Amiee, Nicole, Nicholas, Emma, Eric, Melissa and great-grandchildren, Noah, Owen, Logan and Dryden. Dear sister of Donny and his wife Mary Neate, Bernard Neate and the late John Neate. Also fondly remembered by her stepbrother Allen Setter, Mary Neate, her many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King Street East (905-433-5558) for a memorial visitation Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Donations made in memory of Theresa to the Durham Cancer Centre, "Oshawa General Hospital Foundation", would be appreciated. Special thank you to Dr. George Gillen, Dr. Wierzbicki and oncology staff at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa.

Retired after 23 years General Motors Corporation. Peacefully on Tuesday November 2, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 90. Mykola, beloved husband for 58 years of Irina Kovalev. GOLDSTONE, Ruth
At the Cottage Hospital on Tuesday November 2nd, 2004. In her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Chris (1986). Loving mother of Don (Catherine) and Elaine Stevenson. Dear grandmother of Dawn (Jim), Dianne (Mark), Lisa, Ken (Amy), Darryl (Cinzia) and great grandmother of Jacylin, Allison, Christopher, Kyle, Amanda and Daniel. Survived by her sister Gweneth (Rodney) Haynes and brother John (Mary) Cook and pre-deceased by her sister Audrey (Ken) Carter. In Ruth's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Durham Region or to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.

GRAHAM, Kenneth Roy
In his 46th year - At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday November 2nd 2004. Beloved husband & best friend of Liz Laidlaw. Loving father of Mitchell & Chelsea Graham & their mother Wendy. Cherished step-father of Tyler, Kerri & Kristen Lorefice. He is survived by his sister Grace De Long, his sister Helen & her husband Jim Grills, by his brother Reginald & his wife Debbie Graham & by his sister Marie & her husband Larry Brooking. JENNINGS, Gerald Gordon
On Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, at age 67. Gerald Jennings, dearly loved husband of Pauline (nee Faulkner). Loved father of Debby Miller and Dave Hughson, and Kim and John Yaremko. Loving grandfather of Scott, Jeffrey, Kathryn, Claire and Jonathan. Dear brother of Donna and her husband Gordon Johnston. Gerald will also be missed by the Faulkner family. Rested at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel" 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171). A Service to celebrate the life of Gerald Jennings was held in the Victory Baptist Church, 18408 Yonge Street, Newmarket on Friday, November 5th at 11 a.m. Private interment Aurora Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Lung Association.

MINES, Eileen B.
At the Lakeridge Health Centre, Whitby, on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, in her 73rd year. Eileen Mines, loving wife of Alex for 52 years. Cherished mom of Judy and her husband Ernie Stronge, and Michael and his wife Cathy. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Christina and Steven Stronge; and Jacob and Thomas Mines. Survived by her sisters, Hilda and Ruth. Funeral Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 77 Randell Drive, Ajax, (Pickering Village) on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Alzheimer Society, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

TRUNTAEW, Anna
August 1, 1926 to November 2, 2004. With deep sadness, the family announces the death of Anna. Surrounded by her loving family, Anna passed away on Tuesday November 2nd, 2004 at Rouge Valley Health Centre in Ajax, Ontario. Anna was born in Furmanka, Ukraine. During World War II, Anna worked in a brick factory in Germany. Following the war, she moved to Belgium, where she met her husband to be Nikolai ( Nick ) Truntaew. They were married November 12, 1947. In 1951 they emmigrated to Canada to live in Kirkland Lake. In 1964, they moved to Ajax. Anna was predeceased by her parents Maksym ( 1996 ) and Daria ( 1998 ) Juryiczuk, her brother Vanya ( Ivan ), and her sisters Katya ( Catherine ), Polya ( Polly ) in Ukraine, and by her brother-in-laws Dmytro Stanczenko ( 1996 ) and Onne Ranta ( 1996 ). Anna is survived by her loving husband, of 56 years Nikolai Truntaew. She is also survived by her sisters Olya ( Olga ) Stanczenko of Mississauga, and Marucia ( Mary ) Ranta of Kirkland Lake. Anna will be greatly missed and loved by her nephew and godson Kolya ( Nick ) Stanczenko of British Columbia, and her niece Raisa ( Bernhart ) Wesenberg of Thousand Oaks, California, her niece and goddaughter Vera ( Kirk ) McCallum of Mississauga, nephew Steve ( Susan ) Ranta of Kirkland Lake, and niece Selina ( Ranta ) and her husband Andre. Dufresne, of Ajax. They were just like Anna’s children. The family thanks them all with deepest gratitude for their loving care. Anna was the greatest great aunt to David and Matt Wesenberg of Thousand Oaks, California, Jenny McCallum of London, Ontario, and Emily and Holly Ranta of Kirkland Lake. Anna was a proud and loving godmother to Borick ( Boris Jr. ) Skoblikowskyj of Oshawa. Anna was a great gardener and took such pride in her garden on Archer Drive. The family will receive friends at the visitation which will be held on Friday November 5th from 7-9 pm, at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Panachyda will be held at 7 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday November 6th at 9:30 am, at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church ( corner of Bloor St. and Simcoe St., Oshawa ), with Father Gregory Melnik officiating. Following the service Anna will be laid to rest beside her parents in the family plot at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, in Courtice. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory to the Rouge Valley Health Centre, Ajax, would be greatly appreciated by the family.

ALLIN, Anna Marie
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville in the comfort of her family and following a lengthy courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 1, 2004 in her 57th year. Anna Marie (Scott), beloved wife of John David Allin. Loving mother of Tanya Marie and David Jordan Scott. Dear daughter of Roy Herbert Scott and the late Marian Georgina (Allen). Dear daughter-in-law of Margaret Elizabeth Allin and the late Alfred Hislop Allin. Devoted sister of Ruth Eller Gray. Funeral service in Orono United Church on Thursday at 2pm. Visitation in the church prior to the service 1 to 2 p.m. Donations in Anna Marie's memory may be made to Orono United Church or Hearth Place.

COCHRANE, Moe (Morris Jack)
Retired GM Employee). Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on November 1, 2004. Beloved son of the late Milton and Cosy Cochrane. Loving father of Debbie and Pat. Cherished grandfather of Cameron, Candice and Phillip. Will be sadly missed by his loving companion Pauline and her children Frances, Barry and Marilyn and their families. Dear sister of Harold Chapman (Toronto). Predeceased by her 2 sisters and her brother. Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
