DAKIN, Fred
After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 9, 2004 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Ruth. Dear father of Freddy, Kim (Tom Voicey), and Mike (Laurie). Cherished Papa of Joshua, Daniel, Michael and Joseph. Fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters. Will be missed by his favorite walking companion, Tosh. At the request of Mr. Dakin, there will be no funeral service. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to Lakeridge Health Oshawa-Palliative Care.

FULLER-BACKWELL, Anne
(Former owner of Fuller's Store on Albert Street) At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Thursday December 9, 2004, Anne Fuller Backwell in her 89th year. Loving friend of Cor Heurkens. Predeceased by her husbands Peter Fuller (1966) and Steve Backwell. Loving mother of George Fuller and his wife Norma, June Handera and her husband Vladimir, and Christine Witzgall. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Andrea Haiyman, Arlene Moran, Dmitri Handera and Warren Witzgall and by her great grandson Jeffrey Haiyman. Dear sister of Mary Shevcluk and John Stevens and his wife Diane. Anne was an extraordinary, loving and caring mother, she touched many lives and she will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephew, friends and former customers of Fuller's Store. A celebration of Anne's life will be held at Sunnyside Clubhouse (Stacey Ave) on Saturday December 18th from 1:30 until 4 p.m. As per her request, her cremated remains will be buried with her husband Peter in Oshawa Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and may be made through the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa (905)433-4711.

McCRAE, Mina Watt
Peacefully, on Thursday, December 9, 2004, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 76. Mina (nee Pert), dearly loved wife of the late Tom McCrae (formerly of Grove Hill Drive, Agincourt). Loved mother of Ian of Port Perry, Colin of Port Perry, Tom and his wife Kathleen of Aurora, and Ron and his wife Lynda of Port Hope. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Meghan, Mitchell, Scott, Alex and Cameron. Dear sister of Anne, Robert and Jean. The family of Mina McCrae will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, ''McDermott-Panabaker Chapel'', 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, December 10th from 7-9p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 11th at 1 p.m. with Michelle Hofman officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Sister of Beverley, Vivian (Lyle), Donnie (Cleo), Cathy, Faye (Mike), John (Maureen), Roger (Kristie) and the late Charlotte. Daughter-in-law of Annie and the late Dymytro Chryk. Sister-in-law of Peter (Rosalind), Marilyn (Ennis Kameka) and predeceased by Michael. Fondly remembered by Denise, Norm and her many nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King ST. (Cookie) in his 91st year (W.W. II Veteran Retired Employee of the Town of Bowmanville). passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday December 8th 2004. Loved great-grandfather of Taylor, Kaylee, Adam, Grace and Audrey. Dear son of the late John and Alfreda Gordon. Dear brother of Ruth Burley and the late Bill and Evelyn. KOLODZIEJCZAK, Jerzy
Tragically as the result of a car accident on Tuesday, December 7th, 2004 at the age of 67. Predeceased by his parents Zofia and Stanislaw Kolodziejczak and his stepfather Hendryk Oginski. Jerzy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Daniela of 44 years. Beloved father of Margaret Kamsickas (Mike), Mariola Kaminski (Marek), Stan Kolodziejzcak (Boguslawa) and Robert Kolodziejczak. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Ashley, Daniel, Amy, Lisa and Adam, his sisters Helena Rychter and Zosia Weber both of Poland, his cousins Eddie Kolodziejczak (Laura), Henry Kolodziejczak, Helen Roussy (Gilles), Christine Roussy, Wesley Kolodziejczak, Grace Kolodziejczak, Donna Allen and Mark Kolodziejczak (Janine) his aunt Irena Kolodziejczak (Zygfryd predeceased), predeceased by his uncle Edward Kolodziejczak (Zenia). Jerzy came to Canada in 1969 and his wife and children joined him in 1972. He was a long time member of the Polish Veteran s Association, Oshawa, the Polish National Union of Canada, Branch #7, member of St. Hedwig s Roman Catholic Church, retired employee of Chrysler Canada. He worked with the late Father Calik countless hours to organize and build the Tatry Polish Folk Dance Ensemble, Oshawa. Special thanks to the emergency nursing staff at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa, Dr. Paidra, Dr. Chin, our family physician Dr. Fedyna, Dr. Eisenstat, Dr. Wilamowicz and D.R.P.D. Constable Paul Mitton for all their assistance.
