PITTMAN, Edna - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on December 14th, 2002, Edna Pittman, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband Chesley (1999), sister Florence Lambert (1998). Left with loving memories are sons Lester (Joan) of Glenwood, Roy (Donna) of Ont., Gary of New Brunswick, Paul (Janet) of Appleton, Glenn (Donna) of Ont., daughters Verna (Tony) Bowering of Bay Roberts, Marie (Alton) Reid of Glovertown, brother Roy Stoyles (Iris) of Glenwood, sisters Marjorie (William) Baker of St. John`s, Mary (Cecil) Critch of Ont., Grandchildren Paula (Robert), Troy (Michele), Valerie, Justine, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Krista, Glenn, Shawn, Trevor & Rodney, great-grandchildren: Victoria, Samuel & Tyler. Also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 17th, 2002 from Fraser Road United Church, Gander. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Gander. COSTELLO, Wilfred - Passed peacefully away at his home in Ferryland on Sunday, August 4, 2002 in his 88th year. Predeceased by his wife, Mary on May 29, 2000. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his five children, Doreen (Bill Williams), Marion (Kenneth MacDonald), James (Carol Ann), Willie (Lucy) and Don; eight granchildren, Greg (Karen), Dana, Tara and David Williams, Paul, Neal and Mark Costello, and Kris Costello; two great-grandsons, Noah and Ian Williams; one brother Gerald (Joan); and caregiver Shirley Kavanagh. Also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Remains resting at Fahey`s Funeral Home, Fermeuse. BARR, John Kerr (Little Johnny Cameron) - of Torbay, formerly of Blantyre, Scotland. John died peacefully Thursday, October 10, 2002. He leaves to mourn his wife Jacqueline; children: Jonathon, Kate and Rob; relatives in Scotland and a large circle of friends in Newfoundland and around the world. For well over 30 years John contributed to the musical and cultural mosaic of Newfoundland. He was an early member of Sons of Erin, however he might best be remembered as 'Little Johnny Cameron', travelling the outports and coastal communities of Newfoundland. Johnny entertained with the best in Scotland, Ontario and Newfoundland and, latterly, in cyberspace at The Three J`s, Mudcat Cafe, and Blether Bar. We will all miss him and say goodbye in our own ways. Private funeral arrangements have been made. Godspeed Johnny.

CLARKE, William James (Jim) - Second World War veteran, 59th Heavy Artillery Regiment (#971622), retired CNR policeman. passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on January 24, 2003. Predeceased by infant son Richard, parents James and Martha Clarke, brother Fred and sister Helen Samson. Leaving to mourn loving wife of 53 years, Audrey (Curlew); son John (Debbie Fry) of St. John`s; daughters: Linda Boehner (Robert) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Melanie Stanley (Paul) of Mount Pearl, Janice Langille (Andrew) of Trepassey. TAYLOR, Carlson (Carl) - Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Care Complex on Saturday, September 29, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Age 56 years. During his last hours he was surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Florence Taylor of Freshwater; and brothers: Clarence Jr. and Foster . Leaving to mourn his wife Louise (nee Stoodley); son Carlson 'Chos' (Tina) and granddaughter April; daughter Carlene and grandson Krae who held a special place in his heart. Also mourning the loss of a dear brother are Gerald (Rose), Mt. SHARPE, David Theodore - passed away February 6, 2004 DAVID THEODORE SHARPE at the age of 59. Predeceased by her father and mother, Michael and Sarah Clemens, four brothers and one sister. Leaving to mourn her sister Nellie Crewe, Mount Pearl; loving niece Eileen (husband Edward), and their children Darren Moore and Lisa Avery. Also two very special friends who loved her dearly, Edward Escott and Dorothy King. Also leaving to mourn her friends Sherry and Jason Pearce. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday at 12:30 p.m. from Caul`s Chapel. MCDONALD, Albert Thomas - Passed peacefully away on Monday, June 23rd, 2003 at the Health Sciences Center, Albert Thomas McDonald aged 84 years of Colinet. Predeceased by his son, Gerard, his brother, George McDonald.
