Suddenly on Sunday, January 9th, 2005 at Toronto East General Hospital. Former Director of Toronto Children's Aid Society, Former Executive Director of AIDS Toronto, and currently Executive Director of Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario. Beloved daughter of Tony and Sophie Yaworski. Loved sister of Ray and his wife Su Yaworski, Janice Yaworski and her husband Ron Jourdain and Tim and his wife Kipley Yaworski. Caroline will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Caroline will be fondly remembered by many, many friends and business associates. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Salvation Army would be appreciated.

DERRY, Teresa D.
(Waitress for 17 years at Momma s Restaurant, Oshawa and recently at the Massey House Restaurant in Newcastle) Peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, January 8th, 2005. Loving spouse of Richard Couperus. Cherished Mom of James, John, Stephen, Kyle and Jessi and a dear Nanny to all of her grandchildren. Teresa is survived by her sisters Linda and Wanda and brothers Steve, Bruce and Tim. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. (Korean War Veteran; 28 year employee of City of Oshawa Parks Department) . Suddenly at home on Thursday January 6, 2005. Hallett MacNutt, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Heather MacNutt (nee Lawrence). Predeceased by his mother Laura MacNutt (Nova Scotia), and his father Stanley MacNutt (Nova Scotia). Loving father of Wayne MacNutt (Tracey Horton, predeceased), Ronald MacNutt (Elaine), Carolyn Hughes (Jerry), and the late Patrick Martin. Stepfather to Shannon Wilson, and Jana Wilson (Erik). PANKIW, Alexander Sr.
(WWII Veteran) On Thursday January 6, 2005 at the age of 79 years Alexander Pankiw Sr., passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle from major surgery at Scarborough General Hospital. He was born in 1925 in Hordnytzu, Ukraine. Son of the late Sarah and Harry Pankiw. Alexander was a die setter and inspector for Houdaille until his retirement in October 1980. He enjoyed fishing at his cottage on Sturgeon Lake. Beloved wife of Ann (nee Metropolyt). Dear father of Alex and his wife Kathy. Loved brother of Mary and the late Ken Sanders, Jean and her husband Larry Batherson, the late Steve Panko and his wife Elsie. Brother-in-law of the late John Metropolyt and his wife Sally. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. Oshawa with funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday January 11, 2005. Interment Union Cemetery.
