Peacefully at Rouge Valley -Centenary Hospital on Thursday February 17, 2005. Bruce was the loving husband of 42 years to Lynda. Loving father to John (Michelle), Eddie (Bessie) and Peter (Tanya). Dear son to Louie. Dear brother to Eddie, Johnny and Denise. Bruce will be missed by his grand-daughter Mya. Bruce will always be missed by his friend "Milo". As expressions of sympathy donations to the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.

BENSON, Wesley
Peacefully passed away while surrounded by family at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, on Wednesday, February 16th, 2005 at age 77. Beloved husband of Juanita for 56 years. Dear father of James, Bonnie Mann and Steven. Wesley was predeceased by son-in-law William. Loving grandfather of Adam, Courtney, Kimberley Johnston (Ken) and William (Jen). Great grandfather of Thomas and Rachael Johnston and William. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Lloyd and Wilford Jamieson and Dick, Jack and William Benson and sisters Ruby and Minnie. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2005. Gladys Cochrane in her 57th year. Dear daughter of Stella Moxam & the late Archie. Beloved longtime companion of Bob Reid. Loving mother of Sue Ann Melanson & Jim Tillotson, Dwayne Cochrane & his wife Tanya, and Lisa Byrne & her husband Kevin. Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Justin, Brandon, Sarah, Robbie, Jenna and the late Aundrea-Lynne. Dear sister of James Moxam & his wife Nita, Eleanor Bandy & her husband Lloyd, Marion Rusnell & her husband Larry, Donald Moxam, Charles Moxam & his companion Helen, Wayne Moxam & his wife Joanne, Betsy Freeman & her husband Paul, Vera Malcom & her husband Rob, and the late Beverly Beebee & her husband Ken. Dear friend of Angela Reid, Rhonda Martin & her husband Paul, and their children Reid and Jaime. Sadly missed by many nieces & nephews, family & friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with a complete funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday February 19th at 1 p.m. Cremation. Bowmanville, on Tuesday, February 15, 2005, in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late Duncan and Jean Mowat. Loving sister of Jim and his wife Jean Mowat of Matheson, Ontario, Thelma and her husband Paul Trumpour of Oshawa, and the late Mary Williams and Jean Cosens. Betty will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday, February 18, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Cremation with Interment of cremated remains in the Mowat family plot in Haileybury. LUKASEWYCZ, Mykola Nick
Retiree of General Motors Corporation. Peacefully on Monday February 14, 2005 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Born in Ukraine on August 23, 1913. Nick, beloved husband of Stefania Lukasewycz (nee Soroka). Loving father of Oksana and her husband Walter Kozak. Loved grandfather of Ludmila, Steven, and Elizabeth. Nick was very proud of his involvement with the building of St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, Dnipro Hall and the Ukrainian Heritage Centre Lviv. Nick will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and many dear friends. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Wednesday February 16th from 6pm 9pm. Panachyda in the chapel at 7pm. GOODMAN, Jack Stanley
passed away peacefully after a gallant fight with cancer on February 13th, 2005 at the Lakeridge Health-Oshawa in his 84th year. Beloved husband of June for 57 years. Loving father of Frances Goodman, predeceased by his daughter Laraine Berry and brother Donald. Survived by his sisters Betty of Florida, June of New York and Jean of England. Jack was born in Lee, London, England and came to Canada with his wife and daughters in 1957. He was employed in the Tax Department and Works Department of Oshawa City Hall and later in the Works Department of Durham Region retiring in 1986. He was an avid bowler and was a member of the team who won the gold medals in Winnipeg in 1978 at the National 5 Pin Bowling. He will be missed by his family and pets, especially David and Lady. As per Jack s wishes no funeral will be held and cremation has taken place with the ashes to be interred later. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the Durham Humane Society would be appreciated. Many thanks to the wonderful staff on 3F for their care of Jack. Dear brother of James and his wife Audrey, Ross and his wife Jean, and Murray (deceased) and his wife Margaret (deceased).
