(Retired - Scarborough Hydro). Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Saturday, February 12, 2005, in his 77th year. Bill Lawlor, loving husband of Joyce (nee Slater). Dedicated father of Ken (Jennifer Hilton), Gail (Richard Fraser), and the late Wayne. Devoted Grandpa of Alex, Mary Ellen, and Karen. Brother of June Prevost, Ralph (Ealaine), Marion Slater (David), Ruth Rickards (Jim), and predeceased by Gerald and Wilfred. Brother-in-law of Rose and Mary, Norma Slater, Ivor Slater (Pat), Carol Olson (Arne), Bob Slater, and David Slater (Marion). Special uncle to Brenda, Brian, Bruce, April, Karen, Eric, and Karen. Bill will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at Dunbarton Fairport United Church (1066 Dunbarton Rd., Pickering), on Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the C.N.I.B., or The Children's Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Peacefully with her loving husband Bob by her side at South Lake Regional Hospital, Newmarket on Saturday, February 12th, 2005 at the age of 39. Devoted mother of Laura and Claire. Beloved daughter of Sonya and Stanley Coolidge and daughter-in-law of Jean McCulloch. Dear sister of Cathy and Geof Marlow and Russell Coolidge and sister-in-law of Dennis and Kim, and Paul. SMITH, William Ray
(Retired form General Motors in 1967 after over 30 years of service) At Thorntonview Long Term Care, with his family by his side, on Saturday February 12, 2005. Ray Smith in his 96th year, beloved husband of the late Margaret Smith. Loving father of Gary and his wife Judy of Little Britain. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Trevor and his wife Linda and Jaclyn and her fiancé Trevor Wilson. Dear brother of Wilma McQuade and predeceased by his sister Ruby Hawes. Ray will be fondly remembered by his nieces; Gail, Cheryl and Linda and his nephew Terry. Ray attended St. Stephen’s United Church for many years and was involved with the various church boards. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday February 16, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Stephen’s United Church would be greatly appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 7-9 p.m.

ST-PIERRE, Michel (Demers)
Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday February 12, 2005. Michel at age 38. Beloved father of Mikey St-Pierre. Dear brother of Nicole Bouthillette of Bowmanville. Son of Pauline Demers and Aime and Linda St-Pierre. Stepbrother of Rod, Danny and Donna. He will be truly missed by his nephews Jamie, Scott and Ryan. Best friend of Lisa VanWelzen of Victoria B.C. Michel will be missed by his family, aunts, uncles and many friends. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. SZEWCZYK, Andrew
Suddenly following a lengthy illness on Saturday February 12, 2005 at his home in Oshawa at the age of 50. Andrew, beloved husband of the late Helen Szewczyk (nee Richardson). Loved father of Andrew Szewczyk and his wife Andrea, and Elizabeth Szewczyk and her husband Lamar. Loving son of Rozila Szewczyk. Dear brother of Edward Szewczyk and his wife Sophie. Dear uncle of Steve Szewczyk and his wife Christina, Ola and her husband Kevin Phillips, and Larsya Szewczyk. Andrew was proudly expecting to become a “Grandpa” very soon, and will be sadly missed. WANNAMAKER, Dennis Sr.
(Member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 22years) - Peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, February 12, 2005, in his 59th year. Father of Sherry Grills of Newcastle, Paula Wannamaker of Oshawa, and Dennis and his wife Shannon of Orono. Dear Grandpa to his 9 Grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his brother Raymond of Kingston and predeceased by his brother Stan. He will be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday February 11, 2005. Dear father of Troy, Chad, Ashley, and Dwight. Grandfather of Kylie Alyssa Campbell.
