ORSER, Weldon Harold (Buck) - Passed away at the Palliative Care Unit, St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, May 29, 2002, amongst family and friends, following a courageous two year battle with colon cancer, Weldon 'Buck' Orser, age 60 years. Although he was originally from Hartland, NB, he was a Newfoundlander at heart. He served with the RCMP in NF & Lab. for 27 years and with the government for 12 years. He is predeceased by his mother Gladys; father Harold; step-mother Ruby and several aunts and uncles. Leaving to mourn his wife of 36 years Geraldine; son Chris; daughter Carrie Lynn Williams (husband Michael); two granddaughters: Karly and Madison Williams; mother-in-law Marion Stokoe; sisters-in-law: Gail Lee (Ken) and Ann Smith; aunts: Ruby Dickinson and Ruth Hare (Clifton); cousins: Robert Dickinson (Gloria) and Joyce Estabrooks (Jerry); step-sisters: Susan Grant (Tom) and Ann Morgan (Eric). Also leaving to mourn a large circle of friends and work colleagues across Canada. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Born in Glace Bay, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Angus Dan and Catherine (MacPhee) Morrison.
