(Served in Navy; H.M.C.S. Saguenay 1987-1990) Suddenly at his home on Thursday, February 10th, 2005 in his 42nd year. Beloved son of Ruth and the late Gord Bell. Dear brother of Barbara (John) Maguire and Lori (Mike) Carroll. Devoted uncle of April, Jake, Michael, Taylor and Matthew. Gordie will be lovingly remembered by his many relatives and friends. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE Thornton Chapel 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Sunday, February 13th from 2 4 and 7 9 P.M. Prayers at 8:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King St. E., Oshawa) on Monday, February 14th at 11:00 A.M. Interment of Gordie and his father s cremated remains will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Quietly passed away on Thursday February 10, 2005 at the Complex Care Facility, Lakeridge Health Whitby. Dear son of the late Bert & Mary Katocs. Loving husband of Linda Katocs (Farrell). Dear father of Gregg Katocs, of Tokyo Japan, and Dr. Rachel Rooney & her husband Rick of Kingston. Loving grandfather of Simon Rooney. Dear brother of Mrs. Helen Eccles of Windsor, Ms. Margaret Bennett of Toronto and Mr. Albert Katocs of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by 19 nieces and nephews. William was a member of the Oshawa Ski Club since 1963, and has been teaching at the Oshawa Ski Club for 40 years. He was a former member of the Oshawa Flying Club and Aerobatics Canada. Owner and Manager of Professional Collision Clinic (since 1970) until his retirement a few years ago. Our sincere appreciation to the care and compassion given at the Lakeridge Hospital, Oshawa Cancer Centre, Doctors and staff members on Floor 6F and Doctors and staff members at the Lakeridge Hospital, Complex Care Facility in Whitby. Adored grandmother of Kailey, Callum, Alana, and Samantha. She is survived by sisters Jean Grimes and Jessie Melville. Predeceased by her brothers John and Roddie Melville. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and neighbours. Funeral Service at St.Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Monday, February 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation. JUVSHIK, Barbara
passed away peacefully in Oshawa on February 9, 2005, after a long illness, aged 85 years. Originally from Austria, Barbara was a longtime resident of Thunder Bay. Beloved mother of Agatha and her husband Tom Loftus of Oshawa, and Al and his wife Irene of Thunder Bay. Devoted grandmother of Carla and Dan Loftus, and Jeff, Chris and Tim Juvshik. Predeceased by her son George. Following cremation there will be a private family service and Interment in Oshawa. In remembrance, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

THOMSON, James (J.T.)
Taken too soon, after a brave battle with cancer, on Wednesday February 9, 2005 at the age of 65 years, with his family by his side. Jim will be so desperately missed by Kathy, his wife of 45 years, and daughters Angela (Kevin), and Karen (Paul). He was a proud and happy grandpa to Jessica, Colin, Jennifer and Oliver. Born in Greenock Scotland, he was the son of the late Jim Sr. and Peggy Thomson. Jim leaves behind family in Alberta, Scotland and England. May (nee Parker), dearly loved wife of the late Bill Martindale of Scugog Island. Loved mother of Cameron Martindale of Brantford, Janet Godin and Bob Rollings of Komoka, Barbara and David Ogden of Bowmanville, Laurie and Gary Ovenden of Orono, Kim Martindale of Bowmanville, and Kelly Martindale and Bob Hanc of Oshawa. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Madeline and Isabelle and her brother Harvey. The family of May Martindale will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Friday, February 11th from 1 - 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Reverend Norman Seli officiating. Proud Dad of Deanna and Cameron Norlock, and stepson Michael Beaumont and his wife Kim. Grampa Norlock of Madeline, Owen and Ryan Beaumont. Cherished son of Sally and the late Thomas Norlock.
