BEAUDOIN, Roger
passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Bowmanville on Thursday, March 31st, 2005 at the age of 70. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorna Beaudoin. Loving father of Robert, Carmen, Michael and step-daughter Cindy. Roger will be sadly missed by his sisters Francoise and Antionette and brother Gerard. Predeceased by his brother Claude. Cherished Papa to 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Cremation. Memorial Service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE Thornton Chapel 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, April 6th at 1:00 P.M. Interment of Cremated Remains to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Hospital for Sick Children in Roger s memory would be greatly appreciated.

FARROW, Amy Leigh
Suddenly on March 31st, 2005 at the age of 25. Cherished daughter of Islay (Ross) and Russell (Kelly). Loving sister of Derek (Shannon) and step-sister of Alison, Kendra and Dale. Dear granddaughter of Ken (the late Violet) Farrow, and the late Clover and Eric Lawson. Amy will be dearly missed by her dog Jewels, John, Susie and family. Best friend of Julie and Chris. Amy will be fondly remembered by her family, friends and co-workers. Visitation was held at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE Thornton Chapel , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. GORNY, Stanislaw Stanley
General Motors 13 years, Robson Lang 13 years. Moved from Poland to Oshawa in 1959. Peacefully on Wednesday March 30, 2005 in Peterborough in his 80th year. Stanley, beloved father of Roma Szymr and her husband Kaz of Hayden, Mike Gorny of Millbrook, Christine Cortis and her husband Rocky of Courtice and Stanley Jr Gorny of Oshawa. Loved grandfather of Michael, Jason, Bryan, David, Rocky Jr., Drake and Fallen, and great grandfather of Connor. Stanley is survived by brothers and sisters and families in Poland. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Friday April 1st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Hedwig s Church, (Olive and Central Park Blvd) on Saturday April 2nd at 11am. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

HOBBS, Margaret Ellenbeth (nee Bryant)
She passed away on Wednesday March, 30, 2005, in her 81st year. Formerly of Kingston and Pickering, she was the beloved wife of the late James Scott Hobbs. She is survived by her children: James Brian, married to Helen Roy, John Peter married to Pearl S. Huang, Margaret Anne Hobbs-Knowles married to Andrew John Knowles, and David Victor married to Susan Hobbs (nee Schimeck). She is also survived by her ten loving grandchildren: Julie, Marc-Oliver, Helen, Emmet, Maxwell, Jeffrey, Michael, Rebecca, Christopher, and Jennifer. She was also the beloved sister of the late James Bryant. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.

MILLER, Laura
Canadian High & low Board Diving Champion 1924,25,26 at Strathaven Retirement Centre, Bowmanville on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in her 98th year. Laura, (formerly of Etobicoke) beloved wife of the late Charles Dryden Black and Lawrence (Larry) Miller. Dear mother of Erminie Wetmore (Ross), Andrew Black (Susanne) and John Black (Shelly). Loving grandmother of Jim, Janet, Joan, Joel, Rebecca, Matthew and Rachel. Great-grandmother of Rory. A Memorial service will be held at Bowmanville Baptist Church on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Donations in Laura's memory may be made to the Charity of your choice.

PARENTEAU, Jacque Gilbert
In his 72nd year. Peacefully at Marnwood Life Care Centre on Wednesday March 30th 2005. Jacque will be dearly missed by his son Douglas Snoddon & his fianc Sherri Potter. (Retiree from General Motors of Canada after 38 years of service; employee of Bob Myers Chev-Olds, Ajax) After a short hospital stay, passed away at Hamilton General Hospital, on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Marjorie Fry (nee Cornish) for over 44 years. Loving father of Steven Fry and his wife Ann of Oshawa, Karen and her husband Todd Crawford of Port Perry. Loving Grandpa of Brendan and Julia. Dear brother of Betty and her husband Howard Dowell, Jean and her husband Harold Rogers, Brian Fry and his wife Linda and his late Ronald Fry. Brother-in-law of Joan Andrews and her husband Dave, Merle Kerr and her late husband Bob. Also fondly remembered by many family and friends. Survived by her brothers John (Pat) of Marlborough, England and Peter (Joyce) of Agassiz, B.C. Predeceased by brothers Herbert Edward "Ward", and David M. Irwin. Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (209 Cochrane Street, Whitby) on Friday April 1, 2005 at 4pm with visitation at the Church from 3 to 4pm.

Interment, GROVESIDE Cemetery, Brooklin.

WRAY, RICHARD ALLEN
Suddenly, on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at his home in Blackstock, at age 44. Loving son of the late Merlin Wray and the late Eileen Genereux. Loving brother of Gord Wray of Port Perry, Larry Wray of Oshawa, Russ Wray of Scugog Point, Kathy and her husband Dwaine Alsop of Port Perry, and Jackie Wray and her husband Ray Parent of Windsor. He will be sadly missed by his nieces Ashleigh, Krystal, and Ashley and his nephew Tristen.
