Formerly of Stayner, Ontario, spent 25 years with the United Church Mission Board overseas in Angola, several years in Stratford, Ontario and Toronto, and her remaining years being in Oshawa, Ontario. passed away peacefully, at Extendicare Nursing Home, Oshawa, on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Frederick Merrill Ferguson. Loving mother of Helen and her husband Kelly Voutt of Oshawa, Miriam and her husband Dave Boal of Ottawa, Annah Ferguson of Markham and Joye and her husband Gary Taylor of Birmingham, Alabama. Cherished grandmother of Rob and his wife Lisa Voutt, Gail Voutt, Carolyn and her husband David Judson, Kim and her husband Mark Ozorio, Tricia Boal and her husband Gordon Wilson, John Boal and his wife Terri, Mark Beckberger and his wife Christine, Vicky Beckberger, Blake Taylor and Kyle Taylor. Fondly remembered by great-grandchildren Justine, Serena, Darcy, Sarah, Devin, Nathan, Mikayla, Jacqueline, Lindsay, Jessica, Kaylah, Kylah and Kristin. Sister of the late Walter Clemence. ROE, Elizabeth Muriel (nee Robertson)
Suddenly on March 23, 2005, at home in her 75th year, surrounded by her family she went to be with the Lord. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William and her beloved daughter Elaine (predeceased by her daughter Karen and her son Andrew). Betty is also survived by her brother Alan, his wife Joan and their family. Born in Manchester, England of Scots parents she came to Canada with her mother in 1951. Before settling in Bowmanville she lived in Toronto, Regina and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. She will be missed by those with whom she shared her special gifts, her love and passion for the Lord. A Celebration of Betty's life will be held at Liberty Pentecostal Church, 1965 Martin Rd. N., Bowmanville on Wednesday, March 30th at 2 p.m. with visitation at the Church one hour prior to service. If desired and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

AYOTTE, Charles Pierre
September 27, 1930 March 20, 2005 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 20th, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Charles will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of almost 49 years, Gaye, his children Andy (Jennifer), Claude (Betti), Sue (Todd Watson) and Denis (Gail) and his grandchildren Michelle, Alex, Erin, Joel, Amy, Ricky, Michael, Stephanie, Allyson and Emily. He will also be missed by his brother Paul (Gail), his sisters Alice, Yvonne, Marie-Rose, Marie-Jeanne (Andre Talmousse), Germaine (Bill Mackey), and Claire (Michel Paquin) and Gaye s siblings Aylmer (Yolande), Alphonse (Bev), Anita (Ernie Whitney) Dolly (Jerry Bolger), Louise (Louis Lalande), Rachel (Marcel Ayotte), Peter Landriault (Michelle), and Fran (Bill Arsenault). Charlie worked at General Motors for almost 30 years until he retired at the age of 65. He was a hockey fan to the end, cheering for his sons, grandsons and his beloved Canadiens! We will miss him dearly. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd at ASSOMPTION DE NOTRE-DAME. Donations to Grandview Children s Centre, Durham Region Cancer Centre or Epilepsy Toronto are all welcomed. GREEN, David Campbell
passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2005, age 80 after a long illness, bravely borne. Much loved husband and best friend of Jean. Father of Nita (Paul Tolley) and Mark (deceased 2001); grandfather of Coral (David), Angie (Iain) and Alec and Matthew Green. Also sadly missed by his step-children Judy Stupar and John, Jill and Bruce Pratt, Andy and Debbie Quick, eight grandchildren Beth, Henry, Matthew, Erin, Ryan, Sean, Cindy and Jennifer - the only Granpa they ever knew; and four great-grandchildren Scott, Samantha, Brooklin and Mason. David came to Canada in 1957, but always remained a proud Bristolian. An avid amateur radio operator, call sign VE3 FYB (Fine Young Boy!), he loved music, singing in his church choir, and after retirement from Oshawa General Hospital in 1989 and as a Snowbird enlivened the Barber Shop singers and many others at Noah's Ark in Panama City Beach, Florida. He was a faithful member of St. Paul's-on-the-Hill, 882 Kingston Road, Pickering, Ontario, where a celebration service will be held Wednesday, March 23rd at 11 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to Ontario Lung Association or the Hospital for Sick Children would be much appreciated and a joy to him.

passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Rouge Valley Health Centre, Ajax in his 85th year. Loving husband of the late Pam. Beloved father of Anne, Sandra and Jane.
