Peacefully at Bay Ridge's Long Term Care Centre, Pickering on Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Norine was the loving wife to the late Gerald. Loving mother to Gerry (Carol). Norine was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters. Beloved Grammie to Tracy (Jack), Jody (Brian) and Amanda (Jason). Loving G.G. to Tristan, Bailey, Avery, Brook, Owen and Emily. Norine will always be remembered by many family and friends. A special thank you to all the staff at Bay Ridge's for all their compassion and care. Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 90. Frank Reader of Oshawa, dearly loved husband of the late Grace (nee Moase). Loved brother of Ila Harris of Mississauga, Evelyn Hines of Oshawa, Joyce Redman of Port Perry, and he was predeceased by his sisters Edna Fowler, Aleta Clark and Eileen Shave, and his brothers Harry, Earl and John Reader. Frank will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Grace (nee Irwin), beloved wife of the late Reverend Alva Roblin, retired Baptist Minister of Bobcaygeon. Loving mother of Dona Dee and her husband Lindon Williams of Newmarket, and Diane Elaine and her husband Warren Lee of RR #2 Woodville. Loving grandmother of Roger Williams and his wife Lisa, Wendy and her husband Doug Caldwell, Timothy Lee and his wife Misty, and Todd Lee and his wife Jennifer, and great grandmother of Bethany, Mariah, Josiah, Amanda, Samantha, Grace, and Robin. The family of Grace Roblin will receive friends at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 1680 Reach Street in Port Perry on Saturday, March 12th from 10 - 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Church at 11 a.m. with Reverend George Budd officiating. LENEY, Douglas Ivan
passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Versa Care Uxbridge on March 8th, 2005. He was in his 81st year. Doug Leney was the beloved husband and best friend of Grace Leney and the late Mildred. Devoted father to Linda and Grant Lickess, Merlin and Mary Leney, Richard and Shelley Leney, Beverly and Neil Brown, Debbie and Joe Yakely and Michael and Karen Leney. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and stepchildren. He will be greatly missed by his many friends. Donations to the Uxbridge Royal Canadian Legion Branch #170 (109 Franklin Street, Uxbridge L9P 1J5) would be appreciated by the family.

BALL, Frederick Harold
passed away on Monday, March 7, 2005, at the age of 96. Predeceased by his wife Lorraine. Dad/Grandpa will be greatly missed by his son and best bud, Ken, his daughter-in-law Micheline, and his special grandsons Kenny and Bob. He also leaves behind his daughter Jacqueline (Jim) and three grandchildren. Best friend and fishing buddy of Ken Platt for over 65 years. A special thank-you to all the staff at Strathaven Retirement for making home such a special place for Dad. Loved mother of Nina Layter-Hermelin and her husband Jean Pierre Hermelin (Ajax), and Anna Layter (Ajax). Loving grandmother of Kathryn (Katia) Hermelin (Ajax). Dear sister of Mary Shulga (Whitby), Olga Goreglad (Oshawa) and the late Leon Makowchik. Dear aunt of Helen Brooks, Peter Makowchik, Mike Shulga, Steve Shulga, George Goreglad, and Paul Goreglad. Antonina will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. Grace (nee Vickery), beloved wife of the late Leslie Beacock of Port Perry. Devoted mom of Donald and his wife Betty Lou of Seagrave, Grant of New Liskeard, and Bryan of Port Perry. Cherished gramma of Lee, Blair, Ryan, Philip and Craig and great grandmother of Christina. Dear sister of Mary Devitt of Oshawa and predeceased by her brother Angus Grant Vickery who died at the tender age of three years. In her younger years, Grace was actively involved in community events, her church and the Hospital Auxiliary, and she loved to entertain. Grant Thompson (1990). Dear mother of Marion and her husband Dr. Jack Marlow of Dundas, Eleanor (deceased) and her husband Neil Werry (deceased) of Blackstock, and Elaine and her husband Neil Bailey of Blackstock. She will be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, as well as her many valued friends and relatives. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Naylor and Grace Davis and her brothers George, Bob, Jim, and Jack Johnston.
