Passed away in the arms of his beloved family, at home, in Pickering, ON, on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the age of 62. Loving husband of Reet, and cherished father of Tiiu and Alex. He is survived by his mother Margaret, mother-in-law Ilse Paas, brother Gord and wife Caroline, brothers-in-law Tom and Madis Paas. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. The family is grateful for the exceptional care provided by the Nurses of Care Partners, PamD., Pam M., Sandra and Valerie. FREEMAN, Dorothy Erma Grace (nee Geer)
After a well fought battle with cancer, at the age of 69. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 26, 2005. Dorothy devoted wife of Don for 50 years. Loving mother of Deb Freeman, Darla and Kelly Goreski, Dwayne and Sheri Freeman, and Jackie and Chris Lane. Cherished grandmother of Katie, Tiffany, Melissa, Kyle, and Mackenzie. Special companion of Dudley. Predeceased by her parents Ivan and Ella Geer. Always in the hearts of her brothers Bob, Bill, Bert, Garry and their wives. Hughie MacDonald died suddenly on Monday, April 25th, 2005 at the age of 66. Born in New Waterford, Cape Breton; son of the late Dan R. and Mabel MacDonald; was a coal miner and moved to Ontario in 1962; Former employee of Pilkington Glass; President of United Glass & Ceramic Workers Union; during the past 35 years he owned and operated J.H. MacDonald and Sons; Operated The MacDonald Boxing Club of West Hill for 15 years. Hughie is survived by his wife of 46 years Jacqueline (nee MacPhee), sons Doug (Liz), Roddy (Kelly) and daughter Kelly (Bob) Biduke and grandchildren J.H., Jake, Sara MacDonald; Nicole, Ian, Neil MacDonald; Keegan, Jesse, Cody, Kaleigh and Cheyenne Biduke; brother of Roddie (Ann), sisters Catherine (Wilson) LeLoup and Mabel (Kirk) Brown both of Nova Scotia.
