STONE, Gladys Irene (nee McTaggart)
passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 97 years of age. Born in Belleville Ontario, she moved to Oshawa as a young girl and grew up in that city. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Stone (1980) . Loving mother of Kenneth and his wife Madeline of Newcastle, Ontario and Arthur his wife Norma of Windsor, Ontario.
During WWII Gladys worked at the C.I.L. munitions factory in Ajax and later, was with the T. Eaton Co. in Oshawa for 14 years. She retired in 1971. She was the cherished grandmother of eight, great grandmother of sixteen, and great great grandmother of two. Rested at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Funeral Service in the chapel Monday, September 26, 2005 at 2:30pm. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation was held 2-4 & 7-9pm.

MORLEY, Mary E.A.
Peacefully, at Fairview Lodge in Whitby, on Thursday, September 22, 2005. Mary Morley, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken Austin. Loving mother of Jim, Allan and his wife Brenda, and Richard. Proud grandmother of Mike and Jennifer. SKIFFINGTON, Patricia
passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, September 22, 2005. Loving wife of Andrew. Patsy will be lovingly remembered by all her friends and family, both here and in Scotland. SMITH (Corden), Margaret Evelyn
On Thursday September 22nd, 2005 at Hillsdale Estates, Margaret passed away in her 97th year. Predeceased by both parents, her sister Cora and her brother Clarke. Beloved wife of her first husband the late William Corden who passed away in 1964. She is survived by her daughter Margaret Maguire, and her two grandsons Steven Maguire, Craig and his wife Stacey Maguire and her precious great-granddaughter Samantha. Margaret was also predeceased by her loving second husband Charles Smith and two of his children Jack and Anna. His daughter Muriel survives. On her request, cremation and a private family burial will take place at a later date. With a great love of life, a strong will and an unrivalled tenacity, she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Possessing a youngness of heart, a quick wit and a playful spirit, her jokes constantly put a smile on those around her. Never complaining she will always be remembered for the way she met life with her very best. We thank God for her life and her love! With great sadness the family of Doris Irene Bell (Nee: Prouse) peacefully passed away with family by her side in her 87th year on September 19, 2005. Loving wife of Elmour (Dinger) predeceased. Loving mother of Nancy Downs (Orval), Lois Clark (Ron), Doreen Geer (Doug), Ronald Bell (Kimberely), Lynda Ruhl (Bill). Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by Russell Prouse (Lillian), Hilda Gordon (Ross), Gladys Inglis and Isobel Nicholson, many nieces and nephews. JOHNSON, Helen
passed away at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Monday, September 19, 2005, at the age of 87. Helen, loving mother of Derek (Sharon), Leonard (Valerie) and Raymond (Kathryn). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Dianna, Rhonda, Bradley (Michelle), Jennifer, Clayton (Cheryl), Jayson, Shannon and her great-grandchildren. McKINNON, Gordon Donald
(WWII Veteran, Signal Corp) (Former Senior Pastor of Durham Full Gospel Church)
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family and God s presence at the Lakeridge Whitby Hospital on Monday, September 19th 2005.
Gordon, in his 84th year, dearly loved handsome prince to his late wife Ruby. Loving father and father-in-law to David and his wife Karen (of Ann Arbor, Michigan) and Gloria and her husband David (of Whitby, Ontario). A very special grandpa to his four grandchildren Ryan and Kristen McKinnon and Nathan and Aaron Garvie. He is survived by his two brothers Jim & Robert along with his one sister Marjorie Merritt. Predeceased by two brothers Jack & Walter.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Durham Full Gospel Church, 419 Brock Street North, Whitby from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. All are welcomed to participate in a celebration of Gordon s life on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday September 24th, 11:00 a.m. at Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp Tabernacle, 1405 Pentecostal Road, Cobourg, Ontario (905) 372-4388 with lunch and fellowship to follow. Interment will be held in Sunderland Cemetery.
The family would appreciate donations to the mission work in Tortola, British Virgin Islands that Gordon and Ruby ministered in (1960-1970). Fran will be missed by her 12 grandchildren, her twin sister Linda McFadden (Brad)of Ancaster and brother Rod Fernandez (Denise) of Calgary, Alberta, sister-in-law of Tom and Kay Mitchell of Oshawa and many nieces and nephews.
