Dear aunt of Doug (Ellen) Beal. Dear great-aunt of Laura Beal, Wendy Beal (Jeff D Arcy), Katie Beal and David Beal. Cherished great-great-aunt of Keegan D Arcy. A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, November 22nd at Union Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. SERRE, Wayne Charles
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Serre, in his 50th year, on Saturday, November 19, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and friend of 31 years to Catherine Serre. Loving and devoted father to Pamela and her husband George Doukogiannis. Cherished Popa to granddaughter Shelby. Survived by his mother Leona Serre, brothers Donald, Robert, Keith, Brian and loving sister Kimberley. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Loved brother of Betty and her husband Martin Vanden Broek (deceased) of Oshawa, Walter Albers and his wife Mary of Port Perry, Wilma (deceased) and her husband Ivan Brussieres of Sundridge, John Albers (deceased) and his wife Willy of West Hill, William Albers (deceased) and his wife Margaret of Minden, Mary and her husband Ted Pierik of Newtonville, George Albers (deceased) of Pickering, and Cathy and her husband Frank Van Hezewijk (deceased) of Uxbridge. Hank will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and the Jagers family. COLLACOTT, Norma Irene
passed away on Friday, November 18, 2005 at the age of 87 at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Robert Collacott. Loving mother of Joyce Rhude (Oshawa), Jim Collacott (Bowmanville), Joan Collacott (Oshawa). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Chris, Joanie, Paul and Matthew. Great grandmother of Andrew, Eric and Austin. Dear sister of Peggy Baker, Oakville. The family held at viewing at Mangan Funeral Home in Beaverton. Cremation. Loving grandfather of Cynthia, Stephen and his wife Julie, Leslie and her husband Keith, and Joy. Fred will also be missed by his 9 great grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Jean Carnochan of Port Perry. Predeceased by his brothers Roy, Don, Howard, Earl, Grant and Wilmot (Jim). Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Friday, November 18, 2005, at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 81. Ivan Rohrer of Lindsay and formerly of Nestleton, beloved husband of Mildred (nee Mitts). Loved father of Leona Shaw, Carol Rohrer (deceased), Linda and her husband Stephen Sinclair, Gary Rohrer, Brenda and her husband Dave Smith, and Stephanie and her husband Tim Gemottine. Ivan will be missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Oliver Rohrer. Dear grandmother of Bryan and his wife Danielle, and great-grandmother of Madison. Predeceased by her siblings Beatrice, Florence, Pearl, Herb, George, Mervyn, Anna, and Alvin. COLVIN, Ronald L. (Ron)
Retired October 1, 1989 from General Motors of Canada after 37.2 years of service. Our Dad and loving husband passed away quietly with his family close by his side on Thursday November 17, 2005 in his 74th year. Ron Colvin dearly beloved husband of Ruth Colvin of Price Albert. Loving father of Brenda Colvin, Dorothy (Jason) Newell, James (Sharon) Colvin and Ron Jr. Colvin. Dear grandfather of Ashley, Bob, Dillon, Ryan and Ryley. Son of the late Bea and Ted Colvin. Dear brother of Marilyn (Don) Long, Ted Colvin and predeceased by Marvin Colvin. Ron will be sadly missed by his sister in law Betty and his many nieces and nephews.

DORAN, Linda Gail (nee Gibson)
Passed away, on November 17, 2005, in Florida, ending her long fight against cancer. The devoted wife and best friend of James, and wonderful mother of Laurie (Harry), Angela and Ken. Adoring grandmother of Rebecca and Maitland. Daughter of the late Elliott and Florence Gibson, and loving sister of Judi (Gord) and Randy (Val). She will be missed by many great friends and family. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410), from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

PENICKA, Annie
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2nd Corinthians 5:8. passed away Thursday November 17, 2005 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with her family by her side. Annie Luptak was born September 16, 1913 in Motova, Czechoslovakia. Annie married John Penicka November 28, 1931, he died January 28, 1988. She came to Canada in 1938, lived in Courtice and she later moved to Oshawa. Predeceased by son John Penicka Jr. age 5 years March 9, 1940. Beloved mother of Anne March and her husband Barry. Cherished grandmother of Johnna, Craig and his wife Lisa, Christopher and his wife Jen and Colin. Loving great grandmother of Seth, Luke, Rachel, Ryan, Lindsay, Justin and Jackson. Rested at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King St. E. Oshawa with funeral service held in the chapel on Saturday November 26th. Interment at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.. Visitation was held on Friday 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
