passed away suddenly at his home in Ashburn on Wednesday January 11, 2006 in his 75th year. Ralph McIntyre, son of the late Don and Kathleen McIntyre. Dear brother of Glenn McIntyre. A private funeral service has been held. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

MOFFATT, John Gordon
At Victoria Manor, Lindsay on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in his 95th year. Gordon, beloved husband of the late Olive M. (Smith). Loved father of Allen Moffatt and the late Jack who is survived by his wife Buff. Loving grandfather of 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Allen and Doris. Gordon requested no funeral service. Cremation at Bowmanville Crematorium and Interment of his cremated remains with his wife at Orono Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division St., Bowmanville.

KNIGHT, Arthur Neil
(WWII RCAF, Served overseas, Stationed in England) Peacefully, after a short illness, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday January 11 ,2006 in his 84th year. Predeceased by his parents, the late George and Mildred Knight (Knapp) and two younger infant brothers. Beloved husband of Olga (Thomson) and predeceased by wives Helen Arnold and Doris Mitchell. Dearest brother of Roy Knight (late Lois), and his friend Evelyn Shantz of Kitchener, and Margaret (Peg) Goody of Peterborough. Sadly missed by brother in law Don Goody. Special uncle of Karen and Rob Woods, also Gary and Sharon Cotnam, all of Oshawa. Favourite uncle of nine other nieces and one other nephew. Great uncle of seven grand nieces and seven grand nephews, and two great grand nephews. Step father of George Bud Thomson of Bobcaygeon, and David Thomson of Burlington. Step grandfather of five. Neil was an avid golfer and curler, and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Oshawa and an employee of General Motors for 33 years. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Monday January 16, 2006 at 1 p.m. Rev. Dr. John May officiating. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Family members join Olga in expressing their thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and other staff members who took care of Neil during his stay with them.

ROWE, John Arthur
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, John Rowe, on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in his 73rd year. He passed away courageously at the Ajax-Pickering Health Centre. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary Rowe. Forever remembered by his children Linda Rowe and Dru, and Adam Rowe and Tanya. Sadly missed by all his friends and his pets K.C. and Toby. John will always be remembered for his contributions to the R.C.A.F., I.B.M., The Natural Measure, and the Bricklin and Avanti car clubs. As an inventor, John's quest for alternative sources of power was achieved, unfortunately he will not witness the outcome. Friends will be received at the W.C.
