After a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, March 2nd, 2006. Phyllis at the age of 78. Survived by her husband George McKenzie, resident of Winfield Nursing Home. Loving mother of Karen and her husband James Booker of Oshawa. Dear grandmother of Julie and her husband Jeff Pawlicki of Farmington, New York and David Troost and his Fianc Erin Fields of Oshawa. Great-grandmother of Luke, Braden and twins Mathew and Morgan all of Farmington, New York. Resting at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice L1E 2R7, 905-432-8484 (Corner of Sandringham Dr. & Highway #2). Funeral service in our Chapel on Monday, March 6th, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. The family of Phyllis will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday March 2, 2006 in his 88th year. John, beloved husband of the late Ann. Dear father of Jon, Lionel & his wife Donna, Elizabeth & her husband Bud Sellick and Mark & his wife Susan. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Doris (Dodie) Hackett and the late Marjorie Goodman and Edith McKellar. A private family service will be held in the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division St. Bowmanville. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 77th year, on Thursday, March 2, 2006. Loving husband of 52years of Gwen (Jarvis). Dear father of Sue and Graham Wise, Stouffville; Jill and Chris Honda, Detroit; Jennifer and Brian Legree, Brooklin; Doug and Laurette, Stouffville; Tom, Winnipeg; Stephanie and Matt Butler, Brooklin; and Dawne, Brooklin. Beloved grandfather of Meredith, Keith, Brendan, Jamie, Meghan, Allison, Davis, Nathaniel and Benjamin. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara and Bill Heyburn, Thornhill; and Shirley and Jack Findley, Oshawa. Dear nephew of Kay Musgrave. Long-time elder of the Presbyterian Church. Owner-operator of Seaton, Lakeridge Links, Whispering Ridge and Winchester Golf Clubs. Bruce's passion for golf was surpassed only by his love of family. He enjoyed more than 30 years with his family at Craigleith Ski Club and was an unwavering supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs as a season subscriber for more than 50years. The family would like to thank Dr. Terry Brown for his long-time friendship and care. Funeral service on Tuesday, March 7, 2 p.m. at St.Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 35 Church St. N. Pickering Village (Ajax). Donations to the Leukemia Research Foundation, the Burns Presbyterian Church (Access Fund) or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.

WALSH, Margaret Helen (nee Parr)
Peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2006, surrounded by her family at Rouge Valley Health Centre, Ajax, at the age of 61. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 40 years, William Walsh; her children Darby and Erin (Trevor); her grandchildren, Brady, Fiona, Griffin and Paisley; her sister, Leola Randall; and many loving relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette's Church (S.E. corner of Bayly St. and Harwood Ave.) on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.

At his residence on Wednesday March 1, 2006. Stan Bryning in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Vera Russell. Dear father of Jim Bryning & his wife Jennifer, Cheryl Brown & her husband Ian, Bonnie Challice & her husband Gary, Dianne Kennedy & her husband Kaylor, and Bill Frauts & his partner Jeff. Lovingly remembered as Pappa to 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Special Pappa to J.J. & Brandon Bryning. Survived by sisters Sylvia, Nellie and Edith in England, and predeceased by his sister Mildred. CAIN, Marion Shirley
Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 78. Marion (nee Fulling), beloved wife of the late Bud Cain. Loved mother of Sandra and her husband Geoffrey Cartwright of Port Perry, and Susan Simon and Tom Machin of RR #1 Scotland, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Erika Hahn and great grandmother of Jameson and Royce. Survived by her sisters Diane Richardson and Marlene Kornic and her brother Randall Fulling and predeceased by her brothers Bruce, Aylmer, Ross, Ronald and Raymond. The family of Marion Cain will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, McDermott-Panabaker Chapel 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Friday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 4th at 3:30 p.m. Private Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. DE MONTE, Enver Mario
A wonderful man who fought, with dignity, a courageous battle with cancer. Enver De Monte, surrounded by his family, passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday March 1, 2006 at the age of 74. Loving husband of Angela for over 47 years. Dedicated father of Egle and her husband Steven, and Flavia and her husband Michael. Devoted Nonno to Emilie, William, and Mia. Enver was passionate about helping people and was a friend to all. Family and friends may call at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-4711) for visitation on Friday March 3rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. It is with great sadness and sorrow on the afternoon of March 1st, 2006 a tragic car accident claimed the lives of two loving family members. We did not want to lose either one of you, but if it had to be this way we are glad that you are both together.
Emil Neault, age 51, is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 31 years Debbie (Zwicker), loving son Jeffery (Julie), grandchildren Ethan, Gavin and beautiful Serrennia, future son-in-law Paul Handson, In-laws Gilbert and Barbara Zwicker, sister in-laws, Barbara Ann, Kathy, brother in-laws, Kim, Scott and David and nieces and nephews. Emil s parents have already passed on. Always the devoted, loving husband and dedicated grandfather whose love will forever live through them. Mel and Debbie were always perfectly in tune with each others spirit and were inseparable. Mel enjoyed a Quiet Happiness.
Melissa Neault, age 26, is survived by her loving and devoted mother Debbie, loving brother Jeffery (Julie), finance Paul Handson and beautiful daughter Serrennia, future in-laws Norm, Dianne and Ian Jean. Melissa s dazzling, unique character would embrace hearts. Her innocent sweet smile was like a bright star.
A private ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 9th, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE Thornton Chapel , 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Interment Thornton Cemetery. In memory of Mel and Melissa, a trust account has been opened for Serrennia Handson. Donations can be made at The Royal Bank, 1405 King Street East, Courtice or at Oshawa Funeral Service.

At Marnwood Lifecare Center, Bowmanville on Wednesday March 1, 2006. Evelyn Sobanski, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Stanley Sobanski. Loving mother of Barb Campin, Elaine and her husband Rudy Duncan, and Mary and her husband Dennis Flintoff. Dear sister of Christine Patterson, Freda Shields, Joan Jackson, Fred Saxby, Dorothy Lee, Ruth Knox and Carol Cple. Predeceased by her brother Gordon Saxby and sister Honour Saxby. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Rhonda, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Dale, Richard, Daryl and Nikki and her great-grandchildren Tyler, Rylee and Morgan. Evelyn will be greatly missed by her best friend Betty Dawson. STEWART, M. Patricia (Thrasher)
(August 20th, 1932-March 1st, 2006) passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a lengthy battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006 at the age of 73. She will be sadly missed by her 6 children: Bill, Tom, Lynne, Dianne, Greg and Kim and their spouses, her 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and her dear friend Cathy. Special thanks to her daughter-in-law Joanne, Dr. Kassirer, nurse Liza, PSW Debbie and the rest of the Palliative Care Team for the excellent care they gave during her final days. Friends will be received for visitation at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE ''Thornton Chapel'', 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, March 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. Cremation and Interment at Thornton Cemetery. Dear father of Lauren Wenstrom Wilson (William) of Toronto, Leslie Wenstrom (Brenda) of Vancouver, Danielle Szostak (Gary) of Richmond Hill, Dean Wenstrom (Wendy) of Oshawa, and Erika Wenstrom of Pasadena, CA. Grandfather of Brayden and Daira Szostak. At Leslie s request there is to be no funeral service. Cremation.
