(Longtime employee of General Motors and member of Local 222 CAW) passed away after a lengthy illness surrounded by loving family at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 11th, 2007 at the age of 63 years. Ken will be greatly missed by Patricia Lee. Dear father of Ken (Victoria) Sutherland and Craig (Charity) Sutherland. Adored Grandfather of Kailea Tamblymn, Shawna Mclean, Sara and Melissa. Friends were received at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME,847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Thursday, July 12th from 2 4 and 7 9 P.M. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Friday, July 13th at 1:00 P.M. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

SINCLAIR, Aileen Mary (Molly)
One great lady; one life well lived. Molly was a woman ahead of her time - a business woman, a teacher, a leader, a woman of faith. She was one great and influential mother and grandmother to Ron (Barbara, Lynne, Brian, and Alan), Jim (Pat, Scott, and Todd), Kathy (Barrie, Kendra and Krystyne), Susan (Kyle and Tyler), and later to Stephen (Roberta) and John (Heather). Best friend and wife of the late James Cameron. Great Grandma to 7, so far! Predeceased by her brothers, Art and Bruce; much loved by sisters, Jessie and Margaret. Mom passed away peacefully on July 10, 2007 in her 91st year, with Kathy and Susan by her side. She was an inspiration to many; always giving, sharing and lending a hand. Her radiant smile and her sparkling eyes conveyed her love of life. What a legacy she left! passed away at the Versa Care Centre in Uxbridge on Tuesday July 10, 2007 at the age of 85. Ralph Smith husband of Pat Smith. Loving father of Carol and her husband Dan Steward, Ray and his wife Kathy Smith and predeceased by his daughter Ann and her husband Keith Moore. Dear grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Brother of Raymond, Tex, Shirley, Kay and predeceased by Lloyd, Earl, Lorraine, Jim, Lucy and Edna. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ralph Smith will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Cowboy Crisis Fund would be appreciated.

WORDEN, Kathleen Kay (nee Scott)
Peacefully on Tuesday July 10, 2007 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville in her 88th year. Kay, beloved wife for 63 years of the late Sydney Worden. Loved mother of Tom and his wife Pat, John and his wife the late Gaye, Paula and her husband Doug, and Rob Tiger and his wife Karin. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Brad, Beth, Natalie, J.J., Joanna, Kurtis, and Christopher, and her great grandchildren Lauren and Hayden. ear sister of Audrey Millar, and the late Agnes Yake. Kay was a long time resident of Courtice and a member of the Bowmanville Curling Club. Special thanks to the caring staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for the compassionate care that Kay received. Loving grandmother of Laurie Hale (Rob), Jenny Hale (Roger), Rebecca Hale (Chris), Paul Stark and Jamie Stark, and great-grandmother of Trevor, Alyssa and twins Carson and Carlie. Dear brother of James Waddington and his wife Marie. HARNISH, Shane Kenneth

LANE (Nee Jackson)
BEATRICE Following a brief illness, on Monday, July 9, 2007, at Langley Memorial Hospital BC. Beatrice Lane, formerly of Oshawa and Oakville, passed into the presence of the Lord she loved and served. She was in her 106th year. Beatrice was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Jane (Love) Jackson, her sister Margaret Kelly, two brothers William and Albert, one son and her beloved husband of 66 years, Walter Lane, (2004). She is survived by her only daughter, Brenda Jean, (Robert Roxburgh), and also deeply loved by three grand-children, Cameron (Shelley), Heather, Graham (Janis), and twelve great grand-children, all of BC. In Ontario, among those mourning her passing, are three nieces, Muriel Rice, Betty Hardyman and Colleen Sorge of Dunnville, two great nieces, Elaine Kelly of Burlington, Ann Cook of Stoney Creek and cherished friends of many years, Ruth Hunter of Hamilton, Verna Reimer of Oshawa, Dorothy Wheaton of Oakville and Fran Saunders of Sarnia. Beatrice was born in Leeds, England, raised and educated in Dunnville and Hamilton and was a graduate of Toronto Bible College. For eleven years she worked as a missionary and a practical nurse in rural Nigeria, West Africa, (SIM). In 1938 she and Walter were married in Hamilton. Following Walter's service as an RAF pilot in WW II, the couple resided in Oshawa, (17 years), Oakville (41 years), and latterly Langley BC (4 years). While in Oshawa, /Bea and Walter resided on Carnegie Ave., and Westdale Court. They were members of Calvary Baptist Church. They enjoyed a wide circle of friends and were very active in churches and related ministries, and in educational and political organizations. Service for Christ motivated them. From her teen years, Beatrice had a deep personal Christian faith and commitment, was a fervent prayer and maintained a life -long passion for foreign missions and church planting. Many have deeply cherished her influence, friendship, generosity, her zest for life and her courage. A remarkable life, well lived! A service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will take place at Southside Community Church, Robson Park Campus, 12642, 100th. Ave, Surrey, BC. on Friday July 20th., 2007 at 7:00 pm.

McCONNELL, William John
passed away at Seven Oaks Home for the Aged, Scarborough July 9th, 2007 in his 80th year. Dearly loved husband of Frances. Much loved father of Brian McConnell of Acton and Wayne McConnell and his wife Lisa of Brooklin. Grandfather of Chantal, Carly, Michael and Liam. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin Village, Whitby from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service in the chapel Thursday afternoon (July 12th) at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer Society.

PRIEST, Shirley Jean
Peacefully, on Monday July 9th, 2007 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John, N.B. December 21, 1933. Daughter of the late Frank H. Mason and Freda (Hubbard) White. Survived by two sons; Howard Priest and Michael Cassady and two daughters; Joanne MacLeod and Deborah Bent, and three sisters. Loving 'Nana' to Jennifer, Graham, Stephanie and Adam and 'Great Nana' to Weston. Remembered by her several nieces and nephews. Private family arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558). If desired, donations made to Oshawa Hospital Foundation - Colonel R. S. passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9th, 2007 with her family by her side. Cherished wife of Guy Manner. Fondly remembered by her two children Dena and John. Peacefully after a brief illness on July 9, 2007 at Mount Sinai Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Jackie. Loving father of Christine (Gerald), Robin (David) and Paul (Jill). Proud grandfather of Courtney, Laura, Erin, Samantha, Allie, Keegan and Lexi. Remembered by Paul (Kathleen), Rick (Glenda), Linda (Mike) and Cathy. Anne was born on June 19th, 1915 to the late Richard and Anne Kyle. She passed away at Thorntonview Nursing Home on Saturday July 7, 2007, at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Alex Brownlee. She is predeceased by her brothers; Jack, Richard (Dick), Arden and Robert and by her sisters Maggie, Maude and Winnifred. She will be sadly missed by her niece Martha Barclay and fondly remembered by her many other nieces and nephews. CHALMERS, Joyce
passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2007 at Ballycliffe Nursing Home in her 85th year. Survived by her son, David and his wife Linda. Proud grandmother of Brad and his wife, Cathy, and great- grandmother to Logan. Survived also by her sisters, Gwen and Betty, and sister-in-law Anne. Joyce was a WWII W.R.E.N, a retired school teacher, and a member of the O.E.S. A private family Interment will take place at a later date. If family and friends so desire, donations to St. Paul's United Church (Ajax) would be greatly appreciated.

JOINER, Marjorie Ruth
Age 77 years. passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville On Friday July 6th 2007. Beloved wife of the late Robert Joiner. Dear sister of Joyce Greene, Helen Brown (Ted), Gordon (Mary), Percy Greene & the late William & Calvin Greene. Dear sister-in-law of Gladys & Francis Greene. She is survived by her nieces & nephews. There will be no visitation or Funeral Service. Cremation has already taken place. Those wishing to honour her memory may do so by making a donation to the Charity of your choice. MORRIS, Brian Lloyd
December 30, 1945 July 6, 2007 Brian Morris passed away peacefully in Whitehorse, Yukon, on July 6, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Lynne, his children David, Anne (Mike) and Sarah (Russell), his grandchildren, Matthew, Hannah and Grace, his sister Margot (Clement), his brother John (Val), his niece Allison (Dean), his nephew Mike (Laurie), and several cousins. Brian was predeceased by his parents Dr. Maurice and Muriel Morris of Oshawa. Brian grew up in Oshawa, attending Mary and King Street Public Schools and O Neill C.V.I. before graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Law. Brian and Lynne moved to the Yukon in 1978 for Brian to join the law practice of Cable, Veale, Cosco and Morris. He was an active member of the Yukon Bar and the Whitehorse Community. A memorial service will be held in Whitehorse on Monday July 16, 2007. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yukon Law Foundation (#202 - 302 Steele Street, Whitehorse, Yukon Y1A 2C5) in memory of Brian Morris. Brian served on this scholarship committee for many years.

RUSSELL, John Thomas
Suddenly, after a brief illness, on Friday July 6, 2007, in Edmonton, Alta. Predeceased by his wife Sarah. Loving father of Margaret (Mark Pasternack), Joan (Harry Hess), Barbara, John, Glenn, Dennis (Christine Russell). Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late June, Pat, and Judy. Cremation in Alberta. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 471 Simcoe St. S. in Oshawa on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 2-5pm.

passed away at Hillsdale Terrace Oshawa on Friday July 6th, 2007 in her 86th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Samuel Vincent ( 1968). Survived by her daughter Pat (Wayne) Ashton, and her son Michael ( Linda). Sister of Helen (Armand) Lapointe, Yvette Rivet, Morris, Roger (Teresa) and Auriel (Marie Paul) and the late Charlie and Rheal. Grandmother of Kim (Al) Muise, Melissa ( Darcy) Bremner, Paul and Laurie. Great Grandmother of Bryan, Michelle, Joshua and Brooklyn. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
