NISBET, Isabella
Age 86 years. (Formerly of Wilmot Creek) Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday August 22nd 2007. Beloved wife of the late Duncan Nisbet. She is survived by her nieces Josie & her husband Alex McGill and Mery Magee also by her nephews Billie & his wife Nan Magee and John Magee. In accordance with Isabella’s wishes cremation has already taken place. Those wishing to honour her memory may do so by making a donation to the Charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 905-623-5668.

NOTT, Ronald P.
Passed away at Hillsdale Estates on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007 in the company of his wife of 56 years, Jeanne. Fondly remembered by his children Leslie (Bill), Elizabeth (Mark) and Peter. Proud Grandad to Geoff, Allison, Melanie and Mackenzie. Will be sadly missed by sister-in-law Marion Milner and children Lynda and James, as well as all family in England. Passed away on Tuesday, August 21st, 2007 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa with his family by his side, after a brief battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his sons Steve (Darlene), Scott, step-sons Jason (Holly) and Aaron (Fawn) Rice and step-daughter Tamara Rice (Bill). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Rachel, Shane, Chaisse and Kaia. Survived by his wife Beverley Anne Battram, sons Dillon James and Theodore Geoffrey De Silva and mother Betty Perkins. Fondly remembered by his sisters Belinda Lee Couillard of Bowmanville and Natalie Anne Bower of Buffalo, N.Y. Jim’s great passion was football, having played for the Ottawa Sooners, then Texas A&M Aggies, followed by Carleton Ravens and finally with the Ottawa Roughriders in the mid 80’s. Florence ''Bert'' (nee Watson), beloved wife of the late Edward Mason of Ashburn. Loved mother of Lynn (deceased) and her husband William Ross of Nestleton, Susan and her husband David Gainey of Blackstock, Dale and her husband William Burnett of Nestleton, and Lori Mason and her husband Mooch Morrison of Orono. Loving grandmother of William Edward Ross, Barry Paul Ross and Tammy, Jen and David Davies, Mindy and Darrell Petts, Dave Gainey, Mason L.J. Racine, Arianna Christine Racine and great-grandmother of Cody, David, Daniel, Ronnie and Brooke-Lynn. Survived by her sister Jenny Wade of Washburn Island. A private graveside Service will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert on Friday, August 24th. Suddenly on August 20, 2007 at Strathaven Nursing Home, Bowmanville, in her 48th year. Predeceased by her loving parents John and Lillian McKay. Dearly missed by her brothers and sisters Sheila, Mary, John, George (Pauline), Ellen, Beverly Vann (Bill), Cherie Waldock (Tom), Carol-Anne, Michael (Hilda) and Mark. He will be missed by his four-legged friends Bowtie and Belle. Passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2007 at Hillsdale Terrace in Oshawa at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Greer), son of Henry and Grace McLaren, brother of the late Ivan, John, Tom and Patricia. Survived by sisters Norma, Frances and Betty. Loving father of Robin McLaren (Geri), Jill McLaren, Jan Kindree (Gord), grandfather of Timothy, Daniel and Mariah Bohdan, and Kathy and Paul Kindree. Lawrence was a long time Oshawa resident, respected businessman (Home Appliances Ltd.), active parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Church, active community volunteer and a past president of the Oshawa Lawn Bowling Club. Passed away peacefully, on Friday, August 17, 2007, at Rouge Valley Ajax-Pickering Hospital, in her 80th year. Born in New Ross, Nova Scotia. Cherished mother of Ann, and mother-in-law of Chris Billy. Dearest nanny of Brendon and Stephanie. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was the daughter of the late Roy Russell, and Clara Smith Russell. Predeceased by her husband Frank, her brothers Melbourne and Stuart, and sisters Eileen, Margaret, and Kathleen. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor at Rouge Valley Ajax-Pickering Hospital. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis De Sales Roman Catholic Church (1001 Ravenscroft Rd., Ajax) on Thursday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Theresa's body will be flying home to Nova Scotia for burial at a later date. If family and friends so desire, donations to The Parkinson Foundation of Canada, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
