Loving mother of Beverly Clark of Hampton and grandmother of David Clark of Peterborough, Dawn Clark of Oshawa, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by nephew Roy Fice and wife Joan of Oshawa. Predeceased by her brother Harold Bateman. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa. Visitation commencing at 12:00 noon on Monday, September 24th, 2007, with Funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Internment at Union Cemetery, Oshawa. Peter was very active with the Oshawa Clarington Association for Community Living. passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital on Wednesday, September 19, 2007, in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Ralph Perry for over 41 years. Loving mother of Barklee and his fianc e Julie and her children Karly and Zack. Survived by her sisters Lorna (Bill) McInnes and Hilda (Heidi) Jones. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Verna Jones. Survived by her father-in-law Rev. A. H. Perry. Joyce will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her friends Anne and Neil Perry. The family of Joyce Perry would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Emergency Department. Age 59 years. passed away at home with his family by his side after a valiant battle with cancer On Wednesday September 19th 2007. Beloved husband of Anne for 32 wonderful years. Dear brother of Joyce & her husband Gavin Russell and Jack & his wife Sharifa Warren. Derek will be sadly missed by all his family & many friends. PORTER, Nattie Lily Emily Ethel
Born on Easter Sunday April 8, 1917 in Oshawa, Ontario passed from this earth with nurse Jan by her side, to be with the Lord on September 18, 2007. She was predeceased by her parents William and Emmaline Barker. Married to Frederick James Porter on February 15, 1941 and predeceased her on March7, 1990. She is survived by four children: Louise Chambers of Midlothian, Texas, Lorraine Porter of Scarborough, Fred Porter (Shaureen) of Oshawa, and Joan Johnson of Oshawa. Lily had seven grandchildren, Jim (Melody) of Midlothian, Texas, Sandra Chambers of Midlothian, Texas, Steven Porter and Lori Porter (Craig Button) of Oshawa, Doug, Adam and Tim Mapes of Oshawa. Lily is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, Alisha, Elijah Chambers of Midlothian, Texas, Kayla Chambers also of Midlothian Texas, Stevie of Oshawa, Sarah Porter of Oshawa, Jonah Reid of Oshawa, Hailey and Dakota Button also of Oshawa, and Allyson Blanchfield of Oshawa. Her two brothers, William, and Abner Barker and four sisters Edith, Evelyn, Dorothy and Norma all predeceased her. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Monday September 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
