The former Betty Churcher beloved wife of the late Oliver Hayes and the late Gerald McLean. Dear mother of David Hayes and his fiancée Jessica Hannah of Moorefield and Susan Hayes-Gibbons and her husband Lionel of Atwood. Also survived by five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Susan and stepbrothers Tony, Chubb and Binky all of England. Special friend of Fred Godwin. Predeceased by her parents, grandparents, son Brian in 1978, son Eugene in infancy, granddaughter Pamela Hayes and one grandson in infancy. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Thursday, 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. Graveside service will be held at the Springcreek Cemetery, Mississauga on Friday at 3:00 pm. Beloved husband of the late Iris (Templeman) who predeceased him in 1990. Dear father of Wendy Wiese of the Cayman Islands. Father-in-law of Pat Cronkwright of Wingham. Also survived by his granddaughters Hilary Zeman and Cindy Wiese.
Predeceased by his son Brian in 2001, three brothers and three sisters.

Dear father of Pat and Murray Gaunt of Wingham, Dianne and Jim English of Bluevale, Terry and Brenda Deyell of Wingham and Brian and Marjorie Deyell of Belmore. Also survived by his sister Dorothy Howes of Wingham, eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents George and Mae (Norman) Deyell, his son Ronald in 1967, his grandson John Deyell in 2003, his great-granddaughter Amanda Gaunt in 1996, his brother Earl Deyell and his sister Jean Pocock.

Dear mother of Jane and Lorne Draper and John and Julie Harrison all of Brussels, Barbara and Ray Purdy of Sarnia and Leanne and Bruce Langer of Listowel. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sisters Marjorie McKenzie of Wingham, Donna Wilson of Kincardine and Sharon and George Skinn of Wingham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Margaret (Mighton) and Kenneth Wilkinson and by her children Bette Ann and Bobby Harrison.

Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret (Robertson) Arbuckle and her brothers Robert, Elmer and Dan Arbuckle.

At Huronlea, Brussels on Saturday, May 01, 2004, Mrs. Marija Cepukas of Wingham, formerly of Welland age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Antanas Cepukas. Dear Mother of Vytas (Stan) and Anne Cepukas of Wingham, Anthony and Kathy Cepukas of London and Silvija and Dr. Jim Hall of R.R. # 7, Lucknow. Also survived by four grandchildren Hannah, Zach, Claire and Jeff her brother Vaclovas Labokas of Florida, one sister and one brother in Lithuania.
Predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Marija was a nurse, nursing in Germany and later Nova Scotia. She had a wonderous love of music which sustained her throughout her life into her last months. Her laughter and sense of humour touched all who knew her especially her friends at Huronlea.
Memorial services will be held at Huronlea, Brussels on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Joan Golden officiating. Interment in St. John's Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga, Ontario.

Brooks, Eleanor Isabelle
At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, Mrs. Eleanor Brooks of R.R. # 3, Wingham, age 72 years. Wife of the late Lawrence Ernest (Hap) Brooks (1986). Sister of Betty Jean LaBelle of Dresden and Lloyd and Mary Ellen Broad of Glencoe. Dear friend of Rusty Streeter of Palmerston and Elva Streeter of Wingham. Also survived by 6 nieces and 8 nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Lila Broad, her brother Charles Broad, her sister Bonnie Van Gothem and her nephew Reginald Van Gothem.
