Peacefully at Starwood Nursing Home on Thursday, March 31, 2005 age 73 years. Beloved wife of Clifford for 53 years. Devoted mother of Jeff (Vickie) of Vancouver, David (Jill) and Stephen (Monica) of Orleans and Bernie (Ursula) of Ottawa. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Paul (1957), daughter Christine (1980) and her husband Stephen Haynes (1978) and their children Shannon (1980) and Austin (1980). A private service was held on April 4th. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 945 Wellington St. K1Y 2X5 would be appreciated.

Adoring grandpa of Breanna, Shawn, Nolan and Troy. Brother of Bob (Barbara), Willie (Claudette), Brenda Smith (Wayne), Wendy Brien and the late Barry Brien and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Mabel Brien and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Marg Aldus. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt on Tuesday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. Loving companion of Shirley Grant. Predeceased by his wife Lorna Sloane. Dear father of David Watson (Sherry) of Korea, Ellen McDowell (Pierre Boisvenue) and Barbara Black (Daryl) of Williams Lake, BC and predeceased by his daughter-in-law Jane Watson. Much loved grandfather of Michael, Diana, Elizabeth and Barbara Watson; Redeana and Jarrett Sabiston , Thomas and Eric McDowell; and Kyle and Leora Rupert. Proud great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived and will be missed by his extended family and friends. Brother of Doreen McCaffrey (the late Ray), Ron (Lynn), Gail Ramesbottom (Gerry), Leona Kavanagh (the late Walter), Wayne (Pat), the late Irene Richardson (Will), the late Ivan (Myrtle and the late Shirley), and the late Raymond (Rosemary). Survived by many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held. Forhan, Alan Francis

Peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the Hospice at May Court, Alan Forhan died at age 81. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Sheila (nee Lamke), beloved children Mark (Seana) Forhan of Waterloo, Alison Brown of West Vancouver, Laurie (Louie) Dapavo of North Vancouver, and mother of his children Marilyn Carri re (nee Mielke). Cherished step-father of Craig Fraser, Bette-Anne (Peter) Dodge, Janet (David) Madsen; Predeceased by infant daughter, Stephanie and brothers Norman, Harold and Tom Forhan; much loved by 12 special grandchildren and special friends Maria and Richard Ferguson of Bixby, OK. Born February 5, 1924 in Vancouver, BC, youngest son of the late Anne Graham MacGregor and Oswald Michael Forhan of Eckville, AB. Alan served 2 years in the RCAF. Graduated U of A with a B Sc in Pharmacy 1949. Spent 10 years in sales and management with a pharmaceutical company and then opened Forhan s Pharmacy at the corner of Bank and Second in 1960. Alan retired in 1987 as owner/operator after 27 years of serving his customers in the Glebe. Alan was Past President of the Ottawa Pharmacists Association and was a leader in discontinuing tobacco sales in pharmacies. Alan was a parishioner of Saint Maurice Catholic Church, an avid golfer at the Ottawa Hunt Club and Hylands as well as a keen duplicate bridge player. Many thanks to special friends for their love and kindness during his life; and also to the doctors, nurses and volunteers who cared for him at the Ottawa Hospital and the Hospice at May Court. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) Nepean on Wednesday, April 13th from 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of Alan s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 14th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. passed away tragically on Saturday, June 9, 2007 age 53 years. Nancy Gordon of Osgoode was the beloved partner and wife of Bob Gordon for 37 years. Also surviving is her cherished son Scott (Jenn), daughter Leslie (Jon) and her mother Lois Harris (the late Roy). She will also be deeply missed by her sisters Lynda Hope (Len), Susan Scriver (Ray), and brothers Wayne Harris and Greg Harris (Terri). Nancy dearly loved her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy s family was the center of her life she loved her home, her gardens and her cat Lucy . We all know we were forever in her thoughts. Lowe, John
John s enthusiasm for life (and good food!) was contagious, affecting everyone who knew him well. His passion for his family knew no bounds, including the love of his life, wife Carole, a best friend with whom he laughed often, played hard, and loved well for over 40 years. After teaching his 4 kids what is important in life (family, integrity, having fun, working hard & being tough!), Stacy & Jay, Kristi & Marc will miss him very much. Zachary, Caleigh, Jonathan, Elijah & Jackson will always treasure the times they shared with Grandad (the biggest kid of all!) playing trucks & hockey, bike riding, or the times he threw them in the water & gave them underducks on the swings. Many others enjoyed John s gusto for everything that he did, including his brothers the late Ted (Gail) & Don (Anna), sisters Joan (the late Al), Thelma (Keith), Charlotte (the late Billy), brother-in-law John (Clare), 17 nieces & nephews & their spouses, and many good, good friends who were very important to him. The family will hold a Memorial Service in John s honour at the Outdoor Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd), Nepean (613-722-6559), on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 3:30PM.
